i cant believe i watched this all and this wasnt very helpful at all :/ the reason i looked up this stupid video was because i wanted a STEP BY STEP FROM BEGINNING TO END on how to check in places, whereas you kept just skipping steps. im not even sure from this video whether you create the check in yourself or whether facebook knows where you are. LAME.
@likeastarbaby just because I didn't hold your hand and walk you through like a freaking 4 year old, doesn't mean I didn't explain it. I'm looking at a screen shot of me loading the check-ins. Here you go buddy:Open Facebook, Press Places, Accept the terms, if you haven't, press check-in, choose a place near you or search for one if the place isn't showing up. Tag friends if need be, add a status and, presto! Happy???

@krutchaz i have got the new facebook app on my blackberry, wen i try to change my gprs to yes allow it wont let me and then wen i have checked on the facebook app on my phone in the options menu the turn on facebook places is shaddowed and cant allow it, can u help me ?

@trickyvix09 just download the facebook from the app world. all blackberrys have gps so, it should be able to use places right after the download.

@nayelischoice well, just go to the app world and download the facebook app for blackberry. it contains the places add-on within the app.

@trickyvix09 : I have the same issue with my Blackberry 8520. It will not allow me to check the share location box or add any type of GPS source. =(

@trickyvix09 as long as you have the places app it should work. check your gps settings in the options menu also.
