Pit needed emptying but there was no access to it with a tank. Therefore had to use an agitator as a pump. Pipeline connects agitator to a small tank (~800 gallons) at the bottom of the silage pit. Can then suck out of here using a vacuum tank. This is not an issue in more modern yards where there are slatted tanks at ground level.
