I own an STI PPP and I know for a fact it would not beat that diablo, He was clearly relaxing at the back. STI is a seriously quick car to about 120mph after that it would lose its lead very quickly against something like that! Round a track though, the STI would probably win.
They are from different class of cars, how to compare them? However, if they are both original and the track has a lot of corners i dont think the lambo. has a chance even to smell the smoke of impreza.
if the both cars are new and modified, i dont think Imprezza will win if its only a straight way due to the gap between the two cars Power , I hope they had a downhill race like the ones in the movie of drive racer(initial d) to know who is the best driver

Guys, the video clearly shows the subaru ahead.
Its fact, top spec STi scoobys can hit 60 in about 4 seconds, Diablos are slow accelarating, 0-60 in about 5 seconds, the scooby rapes in short sprints, but the Diablo will reach over 210 mph, eventually, so over a mile, the Scooby would be beaten.

well of course you can mod anything to go faster than a diablo in a straight line. not impressive. guarantee that diablo would sweep the STI around the corners. And you're deffinetly not gunna get the same experience driving a japanese 4 cyl car vs a hand crafted italian v12 lamborghini. although boxer engines sound cool....u'll never mistake a lambo v12 sound for anything else....its irreplicable. Plus....the sti looks like a jap trap, where as the diablo is the coolest looking car made

For ur info a LS2 GTO makes 400hp stock naturallly aspirated and is capable of far more with good heads. Nascar 358ci small blocks make 800hp Naturally aspirated without the restrictors, NHRA Pro stock Chevy LSX's (500ci) make about 1400hp naturally aspirated. Formula One cars make 900hp naturally aspirated (2.4L v8)

Top speed and drag racing mean nothing except on the autobahn. And how many people go to the autobahn out of the world population?
Acceleration, lightness, and braking are much more important on a track or in street driving conditions. If it takes a car 3 hours to get to 200mph it's still slow. If it tops at 150 but it gets there instantly then it is fast.
