The person to whom he was speaking was an American, of Indian descent, born and raised in Virginia. Allen isn't even from Virginia himself.

In regards to the Quran verses you have cited, there are Bible verses about how to beat your slave and saying that children who talk back to their parents should be killed etc. but I don't think most Christians believe in that today.

I have seen these verses and understand the dangers of Sharia Law, the law that most Muslim Countries live by. Oklahoma voted to ban Sharia Law by 70%, a federal judge overturned it. @12Aggiefan I used to live in northern VA, and he was probably trying to appeal to the conservative population that still exists in the state--the type that still have Confederate flags lying around, although they don't tend to display them anymore. (My next door neighbor's Beagle was named Rebel.) I guess Allen didn't realize how much things had changed since I lived there in the early '60s. And I'm really glad that he'll forever be associated w/his racist remark and his subsequent lying.
