Heck yeah the lyrics are way simple, a nursery rhyme really. But the harmonies are so cool....and best of all, listen to the blending rythm of the bass/drums/guitars. That early "surf" sound is just amazingly good. This song is an interesting look into a Southern California garage band that would soon grow more complex, and only become an international phenomenon.
