@Blondiechickie1972 Yeah, i was about 6 when i first got her and i used to let her out everyday, do some exercises with her, I used to have a low wall around the hutches and at the end was a sort of stairs, I put grass up there and she hops up it and each time she gets abit to eat =p

Also used to put her in my barbie truck bit, in the back was a load of grass so she stayed there while i pushed her gently. If she didn't like it she would have moved out, so i guess she kind of liked it, Lol.

My Guinea pig just died. he was 5 so I guess it was time. If you know your guinea pig prolly isn't going to make it I really suggest euthanasia. I think I'm scarred for life watching that poor thing spasm to death. I really love guinea pigs.

@satcrazy I had a guinea pig that lived for 8 years; I cried for days after he died. On the day he died, I went to see a Walt Disney movie, "The Three Lives of Thomasina." To this day, I won't watch that movie. Piggies are wonderful animals.

@Futuredude01 actually the average lifespan of a guinea pig is 4-8 years depending on how well you take care of them, if they get to die from old age and not a disease, then can live 8-12 years, at leasst 8 but most of the time they get a natural disease, OR a disease caused by an owners "mistake" like putting them in a room with a draft causing pnemonia, or feeding them dairy or even holding them wrong, ect..no room to list more little mistakes people make that cut down their lifespan but yeah.
