Very cool! (no pun intended) Our first Brave Athlete is doing the majority of his training in Raleigh, NC for his first ironman. But he is returning home to Scotland for 2 weeks for holiday. He cant stop training so I'm sure he will appreciate this video considering they are having one of the coldest winters on history.
Looks like a pretty neat place to train, I've never really ran a whole lot in snow before. But somehow I'm think you'll come out a lot more hardier training in this environment. Good luck to you.
Dang when I was stationed in Germany we had this weather. But I live in the mountains in the USA, and we still get this weather. Come riding in the mountains for a few weeks in the snow and I guarantee you, you'll be able to hang with anybody haha.
Hi amerikanerMarinen - nice to hear from you again. Where about in the mountains do you live ? For us, mountains are not far, just 20km, but in winter it is quite dangerous on a racing bike so we prefer the valley. Are you preparing for Ironman ? I will start on Lanzarote in three weeks. Best wishes, Matthias
