  • Love this song used to watch The Box waiting for this song to come on

  • I remember watching The Box waiting for this to come on

  • First time I heard this joint it was performed on In Living Color back in '94

  • :-0 wow smh... that year was amazing..real hip hop!!

  • Organic Hip Hop at its finest!!!! unlike the processed, artificial, unrecognizable "noise" that plays the airwaves.

  • "Nowwww everybody wanna play my funk" the chorus is thumpin

  • this is what im talking about slow and mellow rap

  • i love this fucking song

  • The 90's had some of the best hip-hop period! I use to bang this on the reg!

  • Man what happened to hip hop? These clowns doin it now don't have a clue. This track was what it was all about...

  • Seriously dope on a rope- fresh like Scope!!

Sugar Hill was a tite movie as well.

  • OOhhh Maaanne! I remember this joint here! This was the joint back in the day! I still love this one here man

  • 0:48 SHIT, that was unexpected, she's good as heellll

  • This is when lyrics, flow, beats and basslines went hand and hand! Nice!

  • DOPE UPLOAD MAN! RARE JOINT FOR REAL NIGGAZ!

  • Get High music. Nice.

  • This same bass/horns sample was used by Eric B. and Rakim for the song Untouchable, on the album Let the Rhythm Hit Em. Of course Rakim killed it.

  • OMG!! I remember I couldnt wait to get home afterschool i always made it in time for rap city just for real hiphop like this !!

  • COTDAMN!!!! Oh yeah, just feel that bassline, that's groovin'!! Man you got a nigga bobbin' like crazy, fuck this radio shit that we hear today, keep this in rotation & smoke a phat one to this!!

  • Let's be honest the lyrics are real hit or miss, but I'm perfectly fine listening to a song for the beat

  • @nymetsfan9121 , word. The lyrics are tight, but that beat, that beat and that bass line can make the softest cat start hard groovin.'

  • THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE JAM!......Jazz and HipHop fusion....gotta love good music!

  • THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE JAM!

  • i bought the soundtrack just for this song. What happened to her?

  • A slept on joint. The bass line was so tight.

  • Dobry - mało znany "kawałek" - !!! d.

  • How can this song get thumbs down this is the vibe of 90's smoothness, I miss tunes like this.

  • Come on, I know this is from "the era" but its not that dope!! The little bass guitar loop is hype, but its basically one of those songs that stuck-up people listened to and then claimed their "Hip-Hop", lol, like those people in the audience at Chappelles Show. I won this cassette off the radio back when it came out, it sucked. Anyone who thinks im a faker can put me to the test, im down!!

  • @thehumanshin ye man thats true this song isnt good lyrical for that time

  • @thehumanshin

I remember when this got steady rotation on Video Vibrations. Listening back... lyrics are wack. I said it.

"People in the audience at Chappelles show" LOL! Yo thehumanshin stand up son!

  • @thehumanshin, i couldn't agree more, she was mainstream and didn't have much talent lyrically, although the beat isn't bad but nothing special.

  • @eluded1 Agreed, but this is better than half the bullshit that's on the radio today

  • @Sentinel2k1 Damn Skippy!!!  A++++
