i saw the canadian Hornets in a military base near my city ,and it was great ,it wasnt growlers or super hornet ,we have the hornets

Is it my eyes doing tricks on me? Does one plane have rounded intakes and the other square intakes. Is this a way to distinguish between the two planes?

The planes with the square intakes are F/A-18E (singe seat) or -F (twin seat) Super Hornets and the planes with the rounded intakes are an older model, the F/A-18A/C (single seat) or -B/-D (twin seat) Hornet.

thers not much of a difrence between The F/A-18F (super hornet) and the E/A-18G (growler)

the airframe is the same but inside its different plus there arent any jamming pods on this one its from the test and evaluation wing in naspax river,md

actuall there isn't any difference between a foxtrot and a golf except for the lack of a gun, and a better jamming system. The Growler in the video is from VAQ-129, the FRS in Whidbey Island.

P.S. the reason it's a slick bird is so they can pull more g's and perform a better show.
