Do you have a screen protector on your S2...How do you clean your screen? I use a soft cloth that I had for my sunglasses. I've been using the same cloth for 2 months and I have noticed that there are very very small scratches on the screen visible only if put direct light onto it. Can you please give me some tips on how to clean the screen and recommend a good screen protector please?

The screen shot quality on this phone is shit. When my friends with iphones send me their screenshots, I get jealous. One of the things iphone does better than my GS2 :(

@BELLASTINKY Nothing to do with the quality, there screen has a higher resolution so it will always look better.

Screens like the Galaxy Nexus 720p look better than the iPhone etc

@samjpullen Yes I know the iphone has a higher res, but when you put the two phones side by side, with the naked eye you can't tell any difference in screen quality. Now try sending someone a sceenshot from the GS2 and then do the same with an iphone 4, the resulting text pictures are significantly different in quality. You have both phones right? Give it a try. In fact it would be great if you could post a video demonstration. Send a screenshot from each phone to the other and compare results.

@BELLASTINKY I think you may have actually found the thumbnails. That's what I found... Because it didn't tell me where they were, I searched the whole onboard memory for *.jpg and found 400x240 res images of the screen caps. Assumed they were the ones, but noticed they were in the /thumbnails folder. Mount your phone as a drive, and look in /ScreenCapture on the int. memory.

I tried this in the Galaxy Ace. It didn't work. I actually found it by accident. When I was going to school on my bike I was listening to music while my phone was in my pocket and I heard that a picture was taken. I didn't know where that noise came from until I saw the pictures later in my Gallery. I discovered later on YouTube that you have to press the home button and back button at the same time at Galaxy Ace! Still a nice feature, because it has in build screen capture.

You don't actually need to press both button simultaneously. Just press and hold the Home button while immediately press the Power button to make the screenshot.

But when I upload to YouTube the movie is in portrait not landscape which I feel it should be. I had the movie camera set at 1080 but still came out narrow.

@mcruz1013 all devices have flaws, and thats fact, the difference with this device's good points outweigh it's very few bad points and some. The processor got very hot but a software update rectified that, also any of it's other flaws are simply' android' related, and nothing to do, with the phone. I have desire hd, galaxy s and this one. All awesome, but this is king.

The surefire way to do it is to press both buttons at the same time, then immediately realease the power button but keep holding the home button down. That way I can take a screenshot everytime.
