  • It would be so badass if the ring was on his middle finger...

:P Me and my dirty mind.

  • *quiet voice* "I'm a prince, weee..." *puts crown on head* hehe :-)

  • I always thought that Saladin was female until I played the talkie version

  • He's watching you, with a GOLDENEEEEEEEEYE!!! *insert Tina Turner tribute here*

  • Blurry

  • @WorldChallenge YouTube automatically makes the video quality 360p. Change it to 480p (the setting borders the video itself) and it'll be perfectly clear.

  • Considering that this guy is named after the freaking author of the Necronimicon from the Cthulhu mythos, not to mention he's marrying the main character's love interest....yeah, I'm gonna go with the whole 'evil' interpretation.

  • I had forgotten how awesome the music was in this game!

And yeah, I used to put the crown cursor on Alex's head too. :-)

  • Heh heh, I like to see that you rest the crown cursor on Alexander's head during pauses like I did back in the day. Also, great job by LateBlt on the on the Vizier's voice.

  • lmao @ LateBlt's book comment.

It's funny to show the coin to the castle guards first.

Hey, if The Green Isles is so isolationist and hard to get to, how does a common guard recognize or at least honor the royal insignia for Daventry anyway? And not even think it may be a forgery? Bad dog. Even Saladin says he is unfamiliar with Daventry.

lol, I'm happy I'm not the only one that stuck the crown cursor on people's heads.

  • Vizier Alhazred? Nice Lovecraft reference there on behalf of the people who made the game.

  • Alexander is PAST puberty

    1. He was 17 in King's Quest 3

    2. So, he was 18 in King's Quest 4

    3. So, he would be 19, now.

    4. Even if only a year went by, he would only be 18, even less, 17, is past puberty

  • I said he didn't hit puberty just to make an excuse for Alexander's voice (MY voice) being so high-pitched.

  • @pattypopping No, no, no! Don't call attention to it! He's sensitive about being a late bloomer. :P

  • i really like saladin too! such a minor character, but they made him so cool (thank you, tony jay!) if this was made into a play or musical, i'd elaborate more on saladin, since he reveals later in the game that he also suspects alhazard

  • BTW, Saladin is voiced by the always awesome, late Tony Jay.

  • I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who keeps the crown cursor on Alexander's head. Great LP (and voice acting)!

  • She sais Grouse Greese, in stead of Grouse GEESE.

  • Wait, YOU did those voices? Holy crap! I thought it were professional voice actors for the guys until you made that one mistake towards the end. WOW. Some serious talent you got there, man

  • Saladin?

    as in Salahuddin Ayyubi?

I never noticed that before wow.

  • Yup. And Abdul Alhazred is a reference to the author of the Necronomicon in the Cthulhu Mythos.

  • I like the "Boring Book Techno Remix".

  • 07:55

    LOL!

    ROFL

    Ahahahahaha

  • But that's how fiction works :B

  • I smell another evil Vahzeer.

  • Yupp, it's not the fact he's got an accent (especially since LateBlt is just kinda making it up anyway =P ) but the fact that he's a vizier. Not a grand vizier, but a vizier nonetheless... and they are always evil.

  • That's way too stereotypical...lol.

  • Right, because a vizier is a species of chancellor, and, as everyone knows, you should never trust the chancellor. :-)

  • The quality on this video is noticebly better than part 2.

Love your videos, it's an effortless way to play, don't even have to install it =p

  • Is it really? Huh, I don't know why that would be...

If you add &fmt=18 at the end of the URL of each video, the quality will be even better.

  • w00t! Can't wait for more.

  • I've always wondered why there are guard-dogs that walk and talk like humans? King's Quests' 1-5 were pretty subdued as far as how many "fantasy-animals" there were that did anything beyond what normal animals could do. In King's Quest 6 everything from dogs and spiders to crabby tomatoes and holes in the wall can walk and talk.

  • You dare get on the bad side of FiFi von Yip Yip?!

  • Hmm...I'm pretty clueless as to why they would put anthropomorphic talking dogs in a setting with an Arabian Nights Theme. But as for the other supernaturals, they're mostly found in the Isle of Wonder, which is based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, so that should explain it.

  • Hercrabbiness you tagged this video with the King's Quest III subtitle :-)

  • Arrgh!! I keep doing that in every single video I upload! DX Thanks for telling me; I'll go change it now.

  • I love Saladin too. He's so suspicious and yet caring, like a good guard dog. Too bad he's actually in the game so little. =(

  • I see there is an open book on the counter at the bookstore. I hope you will take a look at it also sometime.

  • Yeah, don't worry, I do it in a future video. :)

  • Nice!

  • So I see the the fiendish plot of Fu Manchu begins. I amazed that character models are old Hollywood movies characters. I hope true love finds away. I watched the movie Cowboy The other day and it didn't . So it would be nice to see someone have some happiness for a change.

  • I've never seen Fu Manchu... how is it similar?
