to the people in the video- who gives a shit if they deviate from the books? if it is a story that people love i personally don't care how far away from the comics it is plus it probably gets the comics a lot more popularity

@heatflame4 Dude I get what your saying, but if you have read the actual comics you wouldn't be saying that. If this show had followed the comics word for word, it would have been the best show ever. All of season 1 happened in 6 issues and the second half of season 2 happened in 1 freaking issue! Also, the comics don't need any more "popularity"... why the hell do you think they made show about it?

@heatflame4 I love the show too! I just think it's losing a lot of the fans non-comic/and comic ones a like. Season 1 was almost perfect, but season 2 has been kind of dim and boring. Did you see the episode where Glen found the barn? In the comics the walkers got out and slaughtered Hershal's entire family... it was gnarly. They should have included that atleast and they didn't. It just disappoints me because it's the little things that could make it completely awesome instead of ordinary.

@The420Roger I see how that could add some drama and more gore to the show, but I think it is kind of cool that they are doing things differently and experimenting, who knows maybe they will return to the comics in season 3! Either way, I know that I am definatly going to get the comics and read those!

If they keep killing off the survivors then there wont be no more show because Sophia has already been killed off by turning into a zombie and being shot. Then Carl almost died and Otis died, so if this continues to happen, The Walking Dead will be a failure in its third and possibly fourth season if renewed for that long. Because you can see that now even in its second season. Season One was a hit because it was FRESH, and the twist on Sophia's death was good, but not good enough for people.

As much as I love the source material, I love the direction the last episode went in.

As long as they get to the prison, and personally, kill off Shane, I could care less about who else they introduce and where they go with it.

The more episodes we get, the more of an "alternate version" of The Walking Dead I can get.

Kind of like the Watchmen movie. After reading the comic about 12 times, a slightly different ending in the film was refreshing.

Bring on season 4 5 and 6!

@Tkreft1128 Sick point. I actually like Shane, and the new character in there. Source material is so good, and its great having to guess what happens next in Walking Dead even though we read the comics. And the GOVERNOR better be casted right. He's got big shoes to fill in.
