I had hopes that MegaAtheistman was going to actually engage in a civil conversation. He has resorted to ad hominem attacks. This usually happens when you don't have a strong argument. Now, does anyone else want to try to tell me something they know for sure apart from appealing to the triune God of the scriptures? I don't think it's that unlikely that religious people have a bit higher recovery rates due to the placebo effect of their prayers. The placebo effect is real and very well documented.
HOWEVER, it's effects usually don't go beyond 3%. So it's a fair price to pay for haveing way better sex lifes (also documented), less wars, higher education, etc, etc...

I don't think it's that unlikely that religious people have a bit higher recovery rates due to the placebo effect of their prayers. The placebo effect is real and very well documented.
HOWEVER, it's effects usually don't go beyond 3%. So it's a fair price to pay for haveing way better sex lifes (also documented), less wars, higher education, etc, etc...

@hounddog39 One more thing, I think I said this before, even if I didn't accept evolution, I would still be an Atheist without evidence. You trying to disprove evolution is laughable because the default position is not God did it, it would be no knowledge. But is you succeed through the scientific method you will be rich and famous and I will accept the evidence, but still be an Atheist.

I was an Atheist for many years before I accepted evolution. They have nothing to do with each other. But I will accept any peer reviewed data that disproves, but we all know science disagrees with you, so your opinion is unimportant on the subject.

Evolution teaches about the diversity of life and how it evolves, life that is already living, not the origins nor who planets are formed. Respond to this video... natural selection deals with the species that adapts best to the environment or predators that can reproduce. And it is not always the smarted. A catastrophe like what killed the dinosaurs could;d also kill man. The cockroach might be the dominate species. The earth wasn't designed for us, it was because we evolved that we survives. Many branches off of family tree did not.
