Nice work man, really good cover of a really good song. Your falsetto is pretty good! As far as I can tell the tuning on the recording is somewhere between Eb and D, but you seem to have it nailed.

oh gee - thanks for your lovely comments. i don't mind being ridiculed every now and then. given that i learn and then record most of my covers in only a couple of hours i expect some negative comments. anyway, i am my own strongest critic - i know when my falsetto is crap, when the chords are wrong etc.. - but i'm comfortable with imperfection! : )

Awesome, well made. You sing it right and the guitar playing is outstanding. I just dislike the sound of your guitar, it's a little bit to western style, to harsh and clear, I prefer the slightly softer sound like Bon has.

the guitar sound is dependent on the guitar, the microphone and the mixing. my songs have no mixing and are recorded on a shitty mobile phone - my guitar has a sweet sound - just don't have the technology to replicate it yet!

the hammer on before the first singing has two fingers on - like the bottom of a c chord (i think) - fuller sound watched a few videos of him live - and the hammer on in the chorus has a different bass note - 12th fret - try it and see what i mean - glad someone loves this as much as me - made me finally try a different tuning - where can i hear your originals by the way?
