@MrJudee66 I honestly hate this trailer because of how happy and "Disney" it makes the movie seem, which was actually pretty sad most of the time with lovable characters dying left and right and the ending made me cry a bit. I've actually both read the book and watched this movie and I can honestly say this movie is very good! It's loosely based on the book in much the same way the movie Ever After is loosely based around Cinderella. Both are equally good and enjoyable!
This was the best movie i ever saw in my life - i just watched it and cannot stop crying - i have two golden retrievers too - what a bad trailer this is - i agree this was such a sad movie, but also a great movie and one that will teach you a life long lesson, like the song by Nickelback "If today was your last day"

I watched this film the other day; I loved it and thought it was great. The story line is amazing and has a great moral to it but I have to say this trailer is very misleading. Im not sure how many of you have read the book but it is rather dark and not at all how the trailer makes it seem. None the less an amazing book and a great film, makes me cry every time. :)

I'm watching this movie right now. Its an ok movie but I don't get the ending. Why would you leave your family after spending so much time trying to find them again? Like come on a normal person would be torn and heart broken having to do that and probley die from the sadness of being lost and alone again. I'm sorry but the ending just killed it for me.
It's really not irrational when you think of it. What he wanted was to get back the life he's lost and later, he came to the undestanding that what he wanted was not possible. The ending simply meant he realized he had lost his chance and has to give up the selfish desire to claim his wife and son back. So he chose not to open the wound left after his death, but still wished to be remembered. That's really nothing hard to imagine...

The movie's beautiful, but this trailer doesn't show its real nature. It tells about a family movie about friendship between the boy and the dog, when there is much more to that. What about the boy's dad getting killed in a car crash, and coming back as a dog?
The trailer doesn't tell anything about the movie. It sounds like a children - movie about a dog at adventure. But they don't tell them the story. They don not tell us that it is about a man that died, and became a dog in his second life. It is a kind of sad story ..

Absolutely. I've always maintained that the trailer is a poor representation as to what the film actually is. I only posted it because nobody else had. Rather than being a sacchrine animal film, "Fluke" is one of my all time favourite movies chiefly because of its depth and the thought provoking poignance of it.

The trailer doesn't tell anything about the movie. It sounds like a children - movie about a dog at adventure. But they don't tell them the story. They don not tell us that it is about a man that died, and became a dog in his second life. It is a kind of sad story ..

thats whats so funny about these trailers. It reminds me of the movie man of the year with Robin Williams. Its advertise as a comedy but was more of a thriller/Drama

Maybe you can help me, I'm trying to remember this dog movie I saw when I was younger, and someone suggested it might be Fluke -- does the dog die @ the end, and the spirit comes back to say goodbye to the little boy?

Nope, Fluke doesn't die, if that's who you are talking about. But his buddy dog dies.

Did anyone else notice that the trailer shows video clips and sound clips that arn't actually even in the movie?
For example, unknown video clip at 1:12, unknow sound clip at 1:17, unknown video clip at 1:24 and at 1:31. o.O Kinda odd.
If these video clips and sound clips are actually in the movie but not im my copy, correct me if im wrong and tell where they are at in the movie.
Anyways, I alreadys enjoyed this movie but never understood why the trailer was so missleading.

Actually, I had another trailer, in the video. It really shows what Fluke is, because in this one it shows Fluke as a cute dog movie, like Lassie.
I loved the movie, but the creators of this didn't do justice to it. Thanks anyway for posting this ;).

Absolutely. I've always maintained that the trailer is a poor representation as to what the film actually is. I only posted it because nobody else had. Rather than being a sacchrine animal film, "Fluke" is one of my all time favourite movies chiefly because of its depth and the thought provoking poignance of it.
