What's funny, in a Joker kind of way, is that all the villains that were transformed from Batman trying to help end up blaming Batman for their mutation...too bad there's not Good Samaritan Law in Gotham.
@RubberLotus I prefer the animated version of The Riddler over the other versions. For me, The Riddler as a cool and calculating operator works perfectly and differentiates him from the other Batman villains.
@Solitaire001 To me, the DCAU Riddler is rather flat as a character. His boss fires him. He takes revenge on boss. Then he just... randomly decides to start pestering Batman for some reason.
And he never really felt like part of THE rogues gallery to me. Just some guy who would blow into Gotham once or twice a year to fool around with Batman, then leave.
@HoleInTheCarpet the creators said that they didn't really use riddler much because it was too hard to create episodes for him since they either got too weird, too complicated or too dumb.
I used to love how Fox did the promos for this, with the newspaper with a unique headline for each episode. This is probably the finest cartoon that was ever made (until they started messing with the character designs, anyway).
They weren't all bad. Scarecrow and Bane were a lot scarier looking and Harley Quinn had very little to change, but The Joker in the newer episodes looked incredibly cheap until they decided to redo it again. They were at least better than the designs for "The Batman".
It is dark. And a little sinister. I remember watching the show on FOX. Now I have the whole series on DVD. Plus The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond and their films Mask of the Phantasm, Subzero, Mystery of the Batwoma, and the two different versions of Return of the Joker.
one of my favorite Episodes and one of my Favorite villians in the Batman Series

The BEST Two-Face in my opinion. Eckhart's was good, though.

@rang3r34
Richard Moll kicked ass as Two-Face don't you think and even sounded like his character in the 1986 horror film House don't you think?

@Johnlindsey289 he was Badazz with the voice.

Indeed, remember the movie "House" where he was a zombie soldier?

One of my fave episodes, i love how it brought Two-Face on TV after the 60's version didn't want too.

I don't know why, but I always found 0:16 to be hilarious when I was a kid.

I loved this series and what set it apart from the other 90s action cartoons bad guys used tommy guns not lasers.

excellent series. best cartoon ever made. all the villians were potrayed terrificly (apart from the penguin - he got boring)

Penguin's best episode was without a doubt "Birds of a feather", where he fell in love with Veronica Vreeland.

@aidenmccloskey
Meh. Your mileage may vary on that. Aside from Penguin, their Scarecrow and Bane were really lacking. And Riddler just seemed kind of... off.
Their Joker, Two-Face, Freeze, and Hatter kicked nine different kinds of ass, though.

I dislike Joker's design in " The Batman" partly because of the overly-spiky hair for which i've nicknamed that design

They really tried to play it like the show wasn't serious, almost like evrything was funny. "Two-Face" is one of the series' darkest episodes...

@Donomark Thats how all their afternoon show promos went on Fox back in the day.
