He knows not how to overcome the grief at the departure of a Beloved. That's why he keeps asking divine help by saying: "O" God what shall we do now? This poem has also been interpreted as portrayal of grief and sorrow of the friends and relatives at the death(or the final departure from this world to the world hereafter).
