I know the Arabs Chrisitians use the word "Allah" for God. They use it to mean the God of Abraham Jacob and Issac -YHWH. The Allah of the Quran is demonic Babylonian entity, certainly not the same meaning. But you are right in pointing Mohammad should be the god of Islam. Do you notice that you can say evil things about Allah to a Salafi and he is not as violent as when you say something bad about his prophet???

@TheMurtad I am a muslim and very fortunate to be born into a muslim family. I am not brain washed in any matter, and I have a very open family. Educationally, there are more phDs in my family than your relatives combined. My suggestion for you is to not mix cultural conservatism with religious laws. Middle East & North Africa are extremely conservative. But when you look at the laws, most are cultural. Most these cultures date back thousands of years before Islam.

Lydia: I reall believe you need to investigate the standing of women in Islam. For example if you were raped in Sharia ruled country, you as a woman, will need to produce 4 male witnesses (not women)and not only that, those witnesses "have to have had seen the the penis head going into the vagina" If you fail to do that, you will be accused of adultery and stoned to death.
