I have never heard this song before and ur not gonna believe this but i was watching a vid that was removed from utube and it skipped to the next song which was this song which is amazing cause if you tube hadn't taken that video off it would never of skipped to this vid and i would never of heard this amazing piece of music so thanks for removing that vid utube

I hadn't heard this version since about 1974. The version I own is a live one where the harmonies are nice on the last verse, but it's too short and I agree with my friend below that the guitar solo is great. This is hands down the best version of "The Ballad."
