This is an incredible song. The first time I heard it, I was blown away, and I still am. I have a question, do you use a program to make these recordings, and if so what is it? As a filmmaker, I'd love to get my hands on a program that makes the music sound this good. I have a friend who composes music for me, but the music is in midi form.

This is one of the greatest combinations of the two I've heard in my entire life. The song you have created captures the dark and unsettling nature of original song and setting, and then goes one step further by infusing it with a highly theatrical, bombastic change over, that only adds up to me declaring that this...

@SamoStudios : Awesome! What program are you using to record this? The "audio-picture" (english is not my first language so I don't know how to translate my swedish term but I hope you get it) seems so deep. Almost like a "3D"-thing but in audio. If there was ever a Metroid-movie I hope they use this 'cause it's amazing!

I have not played Other M actually, but your song is an original piece anyways right? Either way, sounded really good to me XD  Also very well mixed, though if it were me, I might add some occasional panning effects perhaps to the lead guitar to give it more of a presence. It actually kinda reminds me of Perfect Dark, which has a great soundtrack. Ever played it? Good stuff!

All my music is composed in Sonar, and then mastered/adjusted in Sound Forge.

@SamoStudios : Oh, I personally think that Other M has received too much hate. SUre, there are some scenes in the game that are questionable. But I like it a lot. Just beat it for the third time (normal mode twice and once on hard mode). And yes, my song is an original. Glad you like it! I really wish I was better at that kind of stuff (panning and other effects).

I haven't played Perfect Dark but I've heard that it's great! I still have my N64 so I might try to pick it up! =)

@SamoStudios Well, the N64 was a great console ^^ The Banjo-games were (and still are) my favourites.

Ah, too bad you don't have a Wii when you seem to like the Metroid-series so much. The Prime-trilogy is awesome (I know, two are originally for Gamecube, but with Wii-controls they are so much better) and Other M is great.

Two things. First, this is awesome in the most direct sense of the word. Liked and Favorited. Second, the choir in the latter portion of the piece seems to speak noticeably. Are they speaking words or merely chanting ominously?

@SamoStudios The choir choice is actually refreshing IMO. The orchestral presence makes the choir seem legitimate, and Kraid's Lair did feature some choir segments in the Zero Mission version. I think your intuition hit home. You could feature this piece in a film, you know. :)
