A nice episode, but as pointed out by the other commenters; predictable. To be frank, I didn't expect it to be this elaborate, but there were indeed too many plotholes where things could just have conveniently fallen into place, as they tend to. It's still a fun show and I still love my weekly episode with dinner, but the time of it being a groundbreaking show is over.
The 'seeing how they win' rather than 'win or lose'- kind of show that Hustle has become, has sadly passed its experation date.
You all have a point, though I had to watch Ep. 2 twice to accept the soccer-like fight over the fake Picasso as not being a bit silly. While predictable, I still enjoyed Sean getting a little more character development and the overall gravitas of the ep. Working with the police is a bit different from previous eps as well. Mostg importantly, I'd like to thank hustleseasons again for coming through. Great work!
I think this is why this is the final series. They've done almost all of the story lines multiple times. It'll become too predictable if they keep the series going for much longer. Right now, even the predictable episodes are still good.
without even watching to the end I already know they're coning the police guy. They need to stop writing this copper chasing them stories. It's very predictable. No copper ever caught them b4 so making us believe someone ratted out on Mickey it's becoming redundant. This is the WORST episode of the season so far. Episode 2 is the best! Hilarious!
@omaricha Well maybe the finale will see them all getting sent to prison for the rest of there days. That won't be nearly as predictable, by your standards.
@omaricha really i thought this was the best episode of the series by a mile, predictable but it had its old charm about it. They haven't made a really consistent, amazing series since 3.
