Since the 60s, EVERY president's administration has spent more than the last. But Obama's did not spend quadruple that of Bush's. And if Reagan created a "historic economic turnaround" then raising taxes was part of that equation. It doesn't matter if you raise them, as long as you raise them in the right places.

Reagan raised taxes over ten times and still had strong Republican policies. Obama has cut payroll taxes by 2%... twice. Hasn't raised any for salaries below 300k. Obama also hasn't done much toward the economy besides a stimulus package in the beginning... one that decreased unemployment by 1.9%.

Since the 60s, EVERY president's administration has spent more than the last. But Obama's did not spend quadruple that of Bush's. And if Reagan created a "historic economic turnaround" then raising taxes was part of that equation. It doesn't matter if you raise them, as long as you raise them in the right places.
