I think these are two very different skill moves, and it sucks that you can't do the scoop and turn if your player has 5 star skill moves. I'll never be able to do that with my Virtual Pro anymore and I much prefer the scoop and turn than the Mcgeady spin :/

@Ksm3939 you push the right stick UP (depending on the direction the player is facing) and then LEFT or RIGHT, depending on where you wanna go. (this is also based on where the player is facing)

@fman1506 It's called a Finesse Shot, search that on the controls. On the ps3, standard controls, the finesse shot modifier is R1.
