  • Sugar doesnt sound as "fancy" as other drugs like acid, E etc. but it works pretty much the same way, inhibiting serotonin receptors and basically making a person happy. There is a withdrawal symptoms and effects and of course instant craving for the substance use again. The reason why it does not get that much attention, is because there are millions and millions of money behind it and sadly addicted people are left without much needed attention and care to start tackling it. Sugar runs my life

  • This documentary from the mid 1980s has more info on this: /watch?v=5OcH9K_RvYk

  • When it comes to addiction its gotta be hard candy with fruity flavors. Chocolate...meh..... icecream... depends..... cakes and pastry's.... not interested. But.... mike and ikes, twizzlers, runts, skittles, jelly beans etc.... like crack to me.

  • suger is natural suger cane??

  • ..and my parents keep telling me that sugar is good...did they brainwashed them??

  • I am a sugar addict. It's pure pleasure when you eat it. But then, it makes you fat, tired and gives you dog breath. When i just ate vegetables and water for a couple of months, i slimmed right down, and my sex drive was good as new. Sugar should have a huge tax put on it to discourage its use.

  • This makes me depressed.

  • This video is very good

  • The Fructose in sugar is the main culprit, especially when consumes in concentrated or high amounts. Sugar or Sucrose is around 60% Glucose (not the enemy since your body naturally produces it all day long) and 40% Fructose (the enemy and is processed in the liver similar to alcohol).

  • stop eating sugar people - let yeast eat it for you and then consume its biproduct!

  • Ehh I don't know many parents who sit their kid down and tell them to eat all the sugar they want. Ik it wasn't the parent but still...experimenting on a 3 yr old?! That's just not right...

  • @chocokid222

But how many parents give their children chocolate, cereals with milk, crisps, refined white flour products etc - all of which will be converted quickly to pure sugar in the blood stream. So not unusual for them to consume 6 teaspoons of sugar at all.

  • my ass all sugar does is makes u fat if u eat too much

  • I think it's abusive to give those kids sugar cubes. What idiotic parents allowed this.

  • @stjulienlepauvre Ummmm, Parents give more than just a couple sugar cubes to kids EVERY SINGLE DAY in this society. Yes... that is abuse too. I agree with you

  • I agree with this video but WOW that background music need to GO. It distracts from the important message.

  • i cant just eat one cookie i can knock out halph the bag candy bars i eat in all but ive stoped eating it now or cut way down dig deep and control your sugar

  • @TailsRobot lol so you're saying you're too lazy to read comments and too stupid to understand scientific studies? LOL

  • This is so gross to me... am I the only one who just does not get a hard on when I see processed sweets??

  • @PeaceUdo Yes... I think so :)

  • 0 - 1:37 ... and that's kids, is why were, all, fucked up, in the head.

  • It's very interesting how I could see the change in his eye expression just after the first few bites of the sugar cube.

  • where can the rest of the dvd be viewed?

  • but its so hard.

  • Thank you, for all the work you have done for us. ***Please remember also, that carbs are sugar too, even complex carbs only take 15 minutes to turn into sugar in your body!!!

  • Thank you for all this work you have done for us.

  • wow....I do that.....go to a few different stores to get lots of candy....sounds terrible hearing it....like real addiction

  • wonderfull

  • If she knew the sugar was unhealthy for the kids, why did she give a kid all that sugar like that? Couldn't she just sit somewhere public and observe kids who were going to eat sugar anyway?

  • @TailsRobot

An observational study does not have the same significance as an active experiment. There are too many confounding variables in an observational study to demonstrate a cause-effect relationship.

  • @XiaoGui17 That barely makes any sense. All your saying is if someone gave a child some candy to watch his reactions, he would do something different than if he had just randomly got the candy.

She could have found a kid, like him, and waited for his mommy to give him some sugar and he would have still acted that way.

Anyway, I wrote that comment over 6 months ago. I know people cant resist me, but common, reply to one of the more recent comments.

  • @TailsRobot

Like the one you just made?

Confounding variables essentially means that there may be an outside factor both causing the child to eat candy AND causing him to behave badly. It could be that ill-tempered children are more likely to eat sweets, not that eating sweets makes children more ill-tempered. If you don't understand the scientific method, enjoy working in a job that doesn't require it. But don't try to educate someone who knows what she's doing.

  • @XiaoGui17 Sigh... Last time i'm visiting this vid.

I didn't read that, sorry. I just don't feel it important enough to.

    Have a good life.

    Eat plenty of sugar.

  • @TailsRobot

Why would I eat plenty of sugar?

  • people are stupid...

  • WOW!!!!

  • This is a good film. Too many of us are getting hooked on sugar t too early in life. Thanks for sharing this.

  • I'm an addict to, I feel extreme anxiety when I don't have it. It's so widespread you can't seem to avoid it. :(

  • Certainly you can stop eating sugar. For dinner, you could go with hamburger, no bun, and a nice salad. Sugary foods are very common, but that doesn't mean I have to eat them, and I don't. That's called will power.

After church, most everyone was eating sugary rolls. I just drank decaffeinated coffee.

  • Great Video....Send this to all the new parents out there....

  • Do you know where can I see the full documentary?

  • I have watched a beautiful young child turn into a heavy set, unhappy child. She can thank her mother for this, as she gives her whatever she wants, when she wants. And no amount of prodding or suggestions seems to get through her mother thick skull; she is ruining her life; how can she not see it!!!?!?!?

  • As an elementary teacher of 9 years I get to see daily what the average parent does to their child. 99% of my students eat school breakfast and lunch (which is nothing but processed, sugared garbage). They also eat "snack" mid-morning which is almost always pop tarts or something similar. Parents don't care. Unfortunately no one seems to care. The average idiot makes excuses, rationalizations or recites the mantra of the moron: "all things in moderation" (as if any American applies moderation

  • Wow, this is like the worst music soundtrack ever.

  • The epidemic is diabetes and hypoglycemia. Obesity is just the symptom.

  • The medical industrial complex is alive & well & so long as this continues the human species is bound for extinction via ignorance. We need to empower ourselves to make our own decisions based upon a much higher level of consciousness than we have been displying so far. Our level of growth & development is measured by our ability to achieve health and balance & to live in a Peaceful, Healthy world. We have a long way to go. The time to act is NOW. All parents need to watch this film TODAY!!

  • thank you

  • Thanbks Carolyn great video If only people would take this seriously . Children only learn these bad habits from adults.

  • Thanks Carolyn, for the link to this vid.

  • D= garrgh!
