If it improves when you hit it it sounds like it's a connection problem between your wifi antenna and the mainboard contacts. You can prove this by pressing on the corner where the wifi is. If it improves, take it apart (loads of instructions everywhere on how to do this) and bend the metal contact on the antenna up a little so it makes better contact with the board. might be a software problem but i'd expect to see a lot more of these videos on here.
It's a software. But sometimes this work, haha, I bang the black thing on the back and it speeds up for like 2 min. I rlly hate the new update. I can't downgrade cuz I got tons of music I don't want to lose.

My iPod does thus and my pc got bricked so how do I fix a charging problem don't tell me to get a new charger cuz i'm using a new charger and my iPod goes off charge for a second so it is I haven't made a vid about this prob but it makes the noise and it flashes very fast charge 2 off charge then back on again so please help! I think it's my dock connector.

the best thing to do is to remove your jailbroken apps and take it to your nearest apple store and show them your problem, that happened to me and i just took i to my apple store showed them my problem and got mine replaced for free. :D
Thats fucking bull shit and stupid, the fact that you violated your iPod and they gave you a new one is bull shit, and the fact that your so stupid to even come up with the idea to think about deleteing all your jail broken apps will work.

on itunes, go to File and then click add file to library and when you downgrade you'll still have your music.

Actually I'm running piece of shit 3.0 right Now wit slow ass wifi. Reason why is Bluetooth Is enterferring wit wifi signal. I hate it!!!!

the best thing to do is to remove your jailbroken apps and take it to your nearest apple store and show them your problem, that happened to me and i just took i to my apple store showed them my problem and got mine replaced for free. :D
