can you tell me how you recorded this & what software did you use & plz dont tell me you didn't play these games on emulators coz i'm tring to find a way to start posting some walkthroughs on youtube & all i could find is "hyper cam *somthing* "
@lordallaoy I played this in an emulator. It's called Snes9X 1.52 rerecording. You start the game of your choice, then go to file/movie record to record what is basically an input file (more or less a text file containing information about what buttons you pressed at what time in the recording. Then you stop recording that, now you can output AVI. Playback the movie input file in Snes9X and go to file/AVI recording. There might be slowdowns while it's playing, but the final AVI will be perfect.
@lordallaoy Sorry if this is a late reply, but I was busy for the past week. It's basically the same process with different emulators. NES = FCEUX Genesis = Gens Rerecording
@DarkEvil87 Pardon my butting in, but how did you do the Metal Gear 2 footage? Did you use an MSX emulator that could do that? If it turns out I can record my own footage (I gained your permission to use yours some time ago and am getting round to that eventually) then I just might.
@ReloadXPsiPlays No problem. I did indeed use an emulator that has built-in recording functions. It's called openMSX. I've only played a couple of games on it, but it seems to have very good compatibility.
@ChrispyNET I have another channel where I'm currently playing it as a Let's play, but as soon as it's done (which might take a little while), it will also appear on this channel in my usual style (no audio commentary, just the game).
