I'm not of the 'music was better in the olden days' view I enjoy all sorts. Classic, minimal, hip hop, rock, jazz, drum and bass, dubstep, electro, metal, rap even some old pop tunes aren't bad as a drunken sing along. (and don't get me wrong, there's some sellouts in most of these genres too) But this and others like it? It's all the same, with the same beat, with the same storyline about the same subject. Probably produced by the same people too, just with a different person 'singing' over it.

My beef is mostly with 'Popular' music in general. It's bland, its all samey about the same subjects and sang by pretentious fame grabbing bling wearing good looking dickheads. Who come hitting 35 give it up for a new bit of eye candy who will inevitably sell his or her lovelife to OK magazine or appear on shows judging people who wanna be like them, and target their music on teeny boppers who are hormonal and crave songs about love who don't give a shit about what constitutes 'real' music.
