  • how the fuck did u do that!?!?!?!!? i've been trying to do that n i fall everytime.....does this work on sidewalks? with 100mm wheels?

  • by luc bourdin my idol \o/

If he was here he would advice you to :

    1) go low (even lower) on your knees (it's easier to impulse the slide)

    2) do not put your arms downward, to the ground, but preferably in the direction of the slide

  • my frame too big.. lols.. not as easy as smaller frame..

  • good control

  • lol he just slides and then they place the pylons right!

  • Easy

  • Reminds me of drifting o_o

  • get some real speed bont sktes mates those are gay

  • This is easy, i've got nike bauer hockey rollerblades n i do that with 1 foot, still amazing doing it with aggressive's good job

  • he's not using aggressive skates.

  • Those are freestyle

  • those r not aggressive skates, they look more like the ones u just rollerblade around town with

  • I never said they were aggressive. I clearly stated that the skates in the video are FREESTYLE skates.

  • what r freestyle

  • Look for freestyle skating here in YouTube or Google it.

  • freestyle skates are skates dedicated to slalom, with short frames and a strong straping to gain more control.

  • i dont get how ur suppose to kick the skates sideways. as in when i do it, i tend to make the sharp turn by rolling abit on the last wheel to turn and thus end up rolling on and not stopping haha. gah,, help anyone on how to 'kick' the skates? thks

  • This was shot in Bordeaux right ?

  • how often do u have to replace wheels from doin slides all the time?

  • How does the hardness of the wheels (durometer) affect on parallel slide?

  • The Harder / Higher the Easier You Slide... Hence It'll Be More Slippery = Easier Fall..

Lesser the Pressure The Further You Go... Weight in center pressure on both legs... =D

  • Luc you are the best roller. From Madrid

  • Very good tutorial to learn a parallel slide. A Slide in in line is more difficult than in ice skating

  • whoa good thing i dont have epilipse lol jk

    nice vid

  • I've only ice skated before. So can someone please tell me if it's the same as the hockey stop? Or it feels different on inline skates?

  • it feels different

  • yoyo marcus.. post up ur own parallel slide vid also post ur super ultra long J-slide vid for people to see.. 10++metres with grippy wheels.. haha..

  • Cool tutorial, thanks for posting this! :)

I removed the rubber stop on the back of my skate but wondered if you can still do this with it. Or any kid of commercial wheels can do this?

  • Cool step-by-step tutorial.Thank you! :)

I removed the rubber thingy on the back on my skate to finally try parallel slide. Wondered if you can still do this with the rubber stop attached? Or, any kinds of commercial wheels can slide like this?
