I was also there at Mezzanine that night. One of the greatest things I've ever witnessed. I live in LA and the Fire Marshalls shut down the gig here the night before before it ever started. My ex and I decided there was no way we were missing Aphex so we jumped in the car the next morning and headed up to SF. I remember the conical green lazers coming from behind the stage (yes, I was E-nhanced). When Moby did his Jesus thing we all left.
Where is the rest of the recording of this show???
@RiotNrrrdUTube Cool, cool. I'm really surprised at the amount of people who came up from SoCal for this gig. It was just another night of partying ("raving") for me and my friends. The entire show is pretty readily available, but the other tracks are near note for note identical to the album versions. The two videos (four pieces of music) that I've posted are really the most interesting parts. Been looking for the other sets from that night for over a decade. No luck.
@PurpleAsparagus I remember looking for a recording of the gig once, saw a reference to a post on the WATMM site but that part of the site (i.e. recordings) was closed when I actually tried to get to the link :(
@PurpleAsparagus I tried to find the whole recording on the We Are The Music Makers site, but they'd rearranged the site and it was no longer there. If you have any pointers ...
(I'd also love to hear the Vapourspace & Orbital sets)
@RiotNrrrdUTube Try SLSK, I think its still floating around there from time to time. It doesn't sound as good as my videos, though. I boosted the volume and did some EQ on it to get a bit more low end.
1st track sounds like it could almost be a Caustic Window track.
I was also there that night. This and Vapourspace were the highlights of the night for me. Still have the Aphex shirt from the event. They also gave out 4 track cassettes! Wow, that took me back. Thanks for posting this.

@PurpleAsparagus Any suggestions for the Soulseek search string? Just "Aphex" gets lots of hits :)
