This performance was the first time I had ever seen or heard M.I.A. At first, I thought it was bizarre. I tivo-ed it and kept laughing at the preppy guy in the blue shirt (2:29/2:41/2:52). After watching it over and over, I downloaded the song, and then "Galang" and finally bought all or Arular. When Kala came out I got it. M.I.A. is very talented and has a great sense of humor which she mixes with the serious messages in her songs. I hope "Paper Planes" wins the Grammy. She deserves it!
