Guess what Graham...Americans don't like your "tone." It is just false to suggest that the speech was "combative." Yes he showed strength, but he also reached out to Republicans in the speech despite all indications that the GOP has no interest in helping Obama, ever. Also he lied when he said Dems had 60 votes. Kennedy is dead and Byrd is sick. Also, the GOP had no problem with reconciliation when it was the majority party in the past. They rammed Bush tax cuts through so don't cry now.

Complains about $900 billion over ten years, yet he voted for the roughly $800 billion dollar giveaway to the drug companies during the Bush adminstration that WASN'T PAID FOR. I say we build the plan ourselves. This is an issue that requires public involvement. I believe the best plan is for the people to elect a group of individuals who work directly with and for us, the people. Then we can poll the public and take public suggestions and build our own plan and then hand it to our government and say, here put this into effect. he seems to want to push the escalation of health-care costs on to the business sector, this along with nafta is the biggest cause of the abandonment of the manufacturing base the private sector has undertaken, every other industriaized nation has universal single healthcare, nafta makes it a no brainer to move to mexico where they can pay the workers 7 dollars an hour. exactly whose side is lindsay graham on anyway, they dont ever ask why is healthcare 1/6th of our econemy?
