Videos are too good. Because of internet issues, I would like download and play again and again from local machine. Can any one advise how to download these videos. Thanks in advance.
I think I figured out my problem. At some point I deleted then re-created the service reference, that's when I got the errors. I tried this again, but this time I UNCHECKED "Reuse types in referenced assemblies". No errors now. I still am wondering about this though... In Solution Explorer, under your NWS service reference you have several files that were generated. I do not have any underneath my service reference. BTW, which Silverlight version are you using? 3 or 4? Thanks again.
@rams7519 I used Silverlight 4 for the video. Visual studio defaults to hiding some files in your projects. There’s an icon at the top of Solution Explorer that will “Show All Files” when clicked and that should allow you to see the files generated by adding the Service Reference.
Thanks for the reply. I used the same template but for some reason I get an error saying "failed to generate code for service reference" when I add the service reference to the silverlight app. Another message says "No endpoints compatible with Silverlight 4 are found". Is your project available for download or can you email it to me? (rams7519@yahoo.com). Thanks again.
ram7519: I used the ‘Silverlight-enabled WCF Service’ template to create my Web Service so no I did not have to change the Web.config endpoint mappings.

Yeah I can see those files now. I can't believe I've never noticed that button. This video was very helpful. Thanks again.

Don't you have to edit the enpoints of the service tag in your web.config?
