Chances are it would of triggered before the take down as a fist would fence up when the defender shifts weight causing a discharge prior to take down. If that doesn't happen if you look at the earlier footage there was a lot more control with hand on gun strip which would probably be divulged in a class with them.

I do have a question about the take down.
As the attacker is falling down, how is the gun controlled from accidentally being fired?
