Definitely way too deep water for that frog. I don't think that these are swimming frogs. If anything, you should defninitely add a ramp to get in and out instead of the sudden drop.

Don't feed so many rodents. High fat diets like this can lead to a build up of lipids and cause eye problems and blindness. Feed meals like rodents sparingly. Also, be careful keeping your frog on gravel like that. A soil or coco-fiber substrate would be much safer. Beautiful animal, I hope he continues to do well for you.

Wow, most live feedings like this can be quite drawn out. I remember a friend feeding his snake with a small mouse, we sat and had beers for a few hours. By the time I left the mouse was still mulling around, and the snake looked none too interested. Fred looks like he could take on a small dog. Nice.

i dont thing you guys with the comments on the take can see very well, the tank look no smaller then at least a 50gal tank, and as far a mice go , i have a 6 year old pixie that eats only mice, they also say they dont like to much water, i think this frog is the exception, i know mine spends 95% of its time under 8 inches of water, only coming out when it knows there are mice. and no matter what you put in the tank for bedding they will find a way to eat it by mistake.
