  • I think you guys are being a little rough on this guy. Because 1 you don't have to be on drugs to press that much and 2 it's more common than you think to loose your hairline at that age.

  • His form is actually near perfect, so I don't know what the hell any of you guys are talking about. He may not be going the technical full ROM with this press, but he's pretty damn near close to it, especially with 135 in each hand. Some guys can't even bench 135 on the barbell hahaha, so keep up the good work!

  • i had a buddy balding pretty bad at age 19 completely through genetics and nothing to do with roids or anything to that effect.

    135 is beast, even in half reps, he's still doing it, and if he continues, he will eventually be able to do it, unlike you haters. 90 degrees is also sufficient, any lower and we would undoubtedly tear muscle...

    tip for personal best, have a spotter raise the weights for you, so you dont waste energy and strength in setting them up.

  • That aint bad... everytime he does tha exercise he goes a little lower, that is a good method to work out heavy and get stronger without a spot. Then you do 2 sets of lighter weights with perfect form to finish off.

  • Give him a break he may have some sort of shoulder issues. I know when I wrecked my shoulder it took months before I could bring the weight down to my chest. In fact check arourd and the gurus will tell you to avoid going to the chest if you have shoulders issues. But I would admit he is barely bringing them bad boys down.

You want to only go until your upper arm is parallel with the ground. Your elbow should be at a 90 degree angle. Any deeper and you start moving the weight off of your pecs and onto the other supporting structures (tri's/forearms/delts).

    Good weight. Good form.

    Don't bother counting your reps out loud. Wasting O2.

    im strong all round mate with a 265kg squat with no suit or wraps just a belt, and a 275kg deadlift, i have 225kg on the deadlift for 7 reps with just a belt.

  • I really don't think the age matters in body building man. I'm 18 and just started weight training two to three months ago, I bench 225lbs and with dumbels 65, and there are ppl that are proably 16 taht can do that, only because they started ealier, so as i said, it really doesn't matter.
