  • There is a brown recluse first aid kit. just type it up. And note the legs of spiders are easilly detached from there bodies and in many cases are able to escape these traps. These spiders can also live a very long time caught in these traps. However these traps are the best way to control them in your home.

  • is there a cure?

  • Remember to treat it quickly with the kit. If you don't it will lead to necrosis which is pretty nasty. You could look up so pictures on google...but I wouldn't suggest it. It requires surgery once necrosis occurs.

  • Where were you when i needed you???

    watch my vid...Helives Spider Bite!

    Helives!

  • lol it was probably really adgitated

  • hello amazed by this spider i live in new zealand so no poisones spider over hear does this kill?, is there heaps around over there? ,what do the bites actually do to you?

  • Recluses I think bite you with acid which slowly kills your skin leaving a hole in that area. I don't think its common to die from it but it looks extremely disgusting and painful and it takes a long time to heal.

  • OMG i saw like two in one week and my cat was trying to go for one and i freaked because there was no doubt in my mind he would die. i squashed it just in time though and we had our house exterminated the very next day... jeez i hate those things

  • where can the public purchase those traps?...any info would be greatly appreciated.

  • See the web site mentioned in this video

  • could it live in a apartment in new york city

  • So that's what a brown recluse looks like...

  • does this spider live anywhere in canada ontairio whitby and toronto

  • Due to the mobility of society, Brown Recluses can hitch a ride most anywhere. However, the Brown Recluse would be very uncommon in Canadian provinces as it would not survive the winters well.

  • Ok,so please tell me we would never never get them in CapeBreton,NovaScotia?

  • To say "never" would be irresponsible since Brown Recluses can show up anywhere. But it's unlikely that a population of them would be established in your area. Yellow Sac Spiders though can cause a necrotic bite wound and they are found in the US and Canada

  • LOLOL wow, thats crazy I remember in grade 6 everyone was croweding around one of them,I didn't know what they were until now,is the bite bad?

  • Yeah, they got a fair population in Toronto and Ontairio

  • WHAT!? THEY DO!?

  • My friend was bitten in New York city. They'll hitch a ride anywhere. Luckily her scar is not as bad as it could have been.

  • whats the stuff in the trap? Is it toxic?

  • It is non-toxic and safe to handle and use.

  • what it is? looks like patroleum jelly mixed with superglue, lol

  • It's a polymeric coating... a permanently sticky glue.

  • cool, so how long do those traps last, because I'm thinking about ordering them and lining my room(I live in an attic) with them on ceiling, because I see spiders crawling around daily, and its a real miracle that I haven't been bit yet!

  • The life of the trap directly depends on the dust level of the location they are being placed. Typically, they should last 6-9 months.

  • aaahahahahaah pwnd

  • Yeah OWNED!

  • Haha loser spider.
