I absolutely despised the destroy system in this game. The game would have been 10x better if there had been an option to disable it.

How screwed up is it? I once destroyed Justice, by accident. The only time I ever saw it work on Justice incidentally.

@charlesajones77 I destroyed Baiken on the first try the first time I battled her. Talk about anticlimactic. Now I beat her almost everyday with Ky, but back then, it was an exploit for me, I even partied with my bro.

@mrLANDO you press P+K, if it hits then you input 632146HS and if he didnt counter the IK (which by the way i dont know how to) you will perform the IK and win the game (not the round, the whole game)

Man, I remembered playing the Guilty Gear demo, a long time ago in a cold, windy day on Dec, 9. 1998.

Interesting... my version of the game doesn't have those cool logos for "Let's Rock", "Slash" and "Destroyed" I just get the word typed in the game's font.

Also, it's nice that your gameplay kinda fair... I'd insist on destroying them all or using the "dash S, HS, dp+taunt repeat" infinite combo through the whole game.

That's what I did last time my save was deleted. Easy unlockables. ^^

It's on purpose. Ishiwatari Daisuke, the person who invented the whole Guilty Gear series is highly influenced by heavy metal and rock music.

Not only is there a character for Axel Rose, there are characters called Testament and Slayer (band names). There are special moves called Ride The Lightning (Metallica album) and Napalm Death (band).

Also, the game's soundtrack consists of hard rock tracks played by Ishiwatari Daisuke.
