Why people have to argue on game soundtracks?

Both the composers of Half-Life 2 and Halo are great musicians. The only difference is the concept, the setting for the soundtrack: Halo could be sad (Lawl, you can't be serious :v), but has several strong and epic moments because the main character is a super soldier; Half-Life 2 instead is a dystopic world, with dark themes and an ordinary human scientist capable of great deeds. Giving one game's soundtrack to another would be pointless.

Half-Life 2 is probably one of the only games where I haven't took a break for a few seconds to analyze the textures, look at a bit of the lighting and stuff and say "Effort = poor" because I was too busy stirred in by the amazing story line and gameplay.

@ROBLOXingHabbo Well, it also has pretty decent lighting and textures by todays standards too. Seriously, without any texture packs it still has better textures than a lot of console games, and the shaders aren't overkill like other games.

I think it was the first game that managed to actually have "realistic" graphics. The only thing close to it at the time was Doom 3, but Doom 3 looked more stylistic and cartoony, whereas this really did look realistic, and jaw dropping in some places.
