@Volf99 It's not like inception. The trailer makes it appear that way but once you see the movie you will notice the difference. This film was underrated and many were confused by the plot but it's like inception people have to pay attention to the story if you start talking to friends or texting in the middle of the movie you will miss parts and get lost in it. you will like the twist in it.
@greyfox129 The first sentence of your comment says, "It's not like Inception" while in the middle of your comment it says, "It's like Inception". I don't know what you're trying to say but anyways...
13th floor carries the same message as "Total Recall", "The Matrix" and "Inception". I believe a lot of movies carry a true message to the viewers. If you are a movie lover, please pay attention to the movies as you have stated. There's an article that says that life is imagination.
@Krututu13 lol i was drunk when i wrote this i'm shocked i did not misspell anything. What i ment is the plot is not like inception but the one thing they have in common is that you have to pay attention to them both carefully if you miss 12 mins of it you could end up a little confused.
i liked this movie allot great actors good twist but better then the matrix i dont no its more action then the 13th floor lets say i liked them both good enough to think more about what i see not forgetting it fast
Nice, interesting, original movie. Craig Bierko was wonderful. The 90's had so many overlooked & underrated SCI-FI films - this one, FutureSport, The Time Shifters, Virtuosity, Tha Lawnmower Man, Alien 3, Space Truckers, Strange Days, The Arrival, Mimic, The Apocalypse (1997), Virus, RoboCop 2, Them, Body Snatchers, eXistenZ, Sphere, Judge Dredd, Demolition Man, Anaconda, The Shadow Men, Dark City etc
It angers me that this movie got awful reviews. After watching it I enjoyed it more than I EVER will enjoy the Matrix. I love the line in the movie where they say "You're the first to create a simulation within a simulation". I nearly jizzed myself when they said that. lmao INCREDIBLE MOVIE 10/10 for me honestly
i saw this with my gf at the time in 1999. was good we thought but disconcerting. just rewatched it again and found it quite good. just that it has a story inside of a story inside of a story. i liked it better this time around. definitely worth having in the collection. the main characters are cool and the story is very intriguing. forget what rottentomatoes has to say about this, its worth watching and owning. 'nuff said.
fabulous movie, but the trailer is misleading....it makes it seem like another run of the mill; sci fi movie...ITS not.The trailer cant reveal too much of course, but for that reason makes the film out to be what it is not.
Its about worlds in worlds...what is reality? and a love story that is surprisingly moving for such a genre film.
What is the music at 1:33? I want to find it.
