This is hardly an isolated incident. During the world juniors of this year he laid out Mueller on a pretty brutal hit from behind. He also managed to elbow Rodin, much like he did to Tam.

He is a repeat offender. The worst part, IMO, is the lack of remorse. While Tam was convulsing on the ice, Cormier was arguing with the ref.
