Haha it sounds funny, cool app! Reminded me of Meshuggah's Mind's Mirrors...
Is this app already on sale? I'm trying to convince my band's keyboardist to buy an iPad an start using MorphWiz along with his Korg TR, it would be a nice addition to our sound :D
Jordan keep up with the good work!! Greetings from Argentina!!
Very cool app Jordan! I always get stoked when you find cool new ways to create music. I have a question that I hope you might answer: Could we look forward to seeing the Harpejji and maybe the eigenharp on the upcoming tour? I had heard scuttlebut that you will be using them on the new album?
Jordan- your musical talent is matched only by your technological innovations. I could totally see you on the main stage for the TED conference, you should definitely speak and perform there!
I cna't stop playing this short clip. The chord played when he says the word "very" is hypnotic to me. Man, I gotta get a keyboard so I can learn to play!!
Haha, this is like doin autotuning on the vocals on the spot.
Jordan, I understand that you input your vocals via microphone and then regardless what note you sing, the pitch it plays is the one of the key you're holding, right?
And how does it react when you keep pressing, say, note E# but during that you alter your voice's pitch?
@amjan I could sing in ANY pitch and the only pitch information the program cares about is what notes are being played on its keyboard. That being said- the program loks at the formants of my voice which do change with the pitch of my voice. So the moral of the story. Changing the pitch and sound of my input (the voice) does effect it but not the pitch!!!
Hello Jordan, Very cool app indeed! Can you expand and shrink the keys though? Or only use octave jumping controls?.. Also can you record backing tracks to get a feel of a symphonic choir orchestra?..
the faceless?
