In a sense, I agree. Pac-Man for the 2600 was a big disappointment from the Arcade version in the area of graphics. But I must disagree in regards to gameplay. In that area, it lived up to the name.

I disagree. They dumbed down the AI for the ghosts, so even the gameplay wasn't there. That was the number one complaint about the game from the magazines during release. The game was just rushed and poorly programmed, and it showed. Ms. Pacman for the Atari 2600 was far superior.
