Hey, the Haditha trials are still going on. If some of those guys are convicted--I understand two have been exonerated--than is it an accusation? Murtha is not putting these guys on trial. Obviously the guys in the upper ranks of the Corps didn't like what allegedly occured. Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has feared the US-armed 'concerned local citizens' are an armed Sunni opposition in the making, and has argued that such groups should be under the command of the Iraqi Army or police.
The Iraqi Defense Ministry has said that it plans to disband the Awakening groups so they do not become a separate military force. The Iraqi government plans to absorb about 25% of the Awakening groups in to security service or the military.

Spare me. You don't even understand the ramifications of what you are cutting and pasting. (I am not surprised: Wikipedia and Rush Limbaugh are your primary information sources). Why do you think Maliki, a Shia, would be happy to further defang Sunnis? Why is Iraq partitioned between Sunni and Shia bantons in which Maliki allowed ethnic cleansing of Sunni minorities in the Shia majority area? This is not the kind of reconciliation that is the precondition to the democracy people have died for.

LOL this video is hilarious. It's so true, Harry Reid is just a typical cowardly LIBERAL. If he talked to any troops who have served, he would know the vast majority of us are huge Rush Limbaugh fans and listened to him on Armed Forces radio while we were deployed. Rush is a great morale booster and is a strong supporter of the military and the war on terror. Reid said "the war is lost" while 160,000 US soldiers were fighting for their lives over there, that is as low as you can get.
