I don't want to be gay too and I think it's a personal choice. I want gays to have their rights respected (of marry, etc), but I don't want to be gay. I realized that being gay is much more than sexuality, defines an entire lifestyle. A lifestyle that I don't fit. I don't fit gay world and I think it's my problem and, honestly, I don't want to live caged in depression and keep feeling bad about myself. I don't care what is in the bible. I know that it's made up bullshit. I think of it as I do other fiction works. You need to realize that it's not divinely inspired. Let yourself consider that it's not the work of a supernatural being. Religions brainwash people into closing their minds to possibilities. Is it not possible that the bible could have been written solely by men without divine aid?

@Redbaron011 No! The word of God was written by His people the Jews. He knew that these men would write just what He said. Moses wrote the first five books of the Torah, which would be from Genesis to Deuteronomy. God said don't add to the book or take away from it. When God kicked Satan out of heaven Jesus said I saw Satan fall like lighting. So if a mere man was going to change the word of God he would be flicked like dust.Then a man could say Sodomie was right.

..continued from before...I am a Christian myself because I have chosen Jesus Christ as my personal savior and belief he died for my sins and have accepted that and want to do his will, but I have prayed everyday since I became a Christian at age 11 for Christ to take away this curse and he has chosen to not. Now at age 31 it is still here and at some point one has to assume he never considered it to be a curse.

Actually, in the Christian tradition the act of homosexual sex, is the sin. Being gay is not a sin because God would be damning a hell of a lot of people who cannot get away from being gay. But why is it wrong for two people in a loving relationship to have sex when straight people do it all the time?
Saying "IT WILL SEND YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL" isn't what Jesus would have said, he wouldn't shout religious slurs at people. He forgives and wants people to come to heaven. Unlike you.
