  • Very interesting thoughts and ideas. I personally don't desire to live in any of these types of facilities. My concern is this is too close to the agenda the world government proposes. If there is a way to assure / guarantee this will not be controlled by the gov't but by the people...then maybe I would consider it. You are right in the respect of all of us coming together, we can make things happen. I just hope it is the right things we are coming together for! Peace and safety my friend!

  • Do you think agenda 21 is a good Idea?

Don't think the people that try to organize and control our society now will simply be able to control us even more in these type of facilities?

I feel as though people will rebel against these type of living arrangements

  • @workingclasssociety

Where in the video do I mention it is a good thing?

I actually mentioned in the video and information section that I am opposed to sustainible development.

  • I realized, it's also important that we have real community enrichment, for the young people specifically. So I suggest Multi-story neighborhood clubhouse facility's. The closest comparison would be a recreational center, but those wouldn't even compare to what this neighborhood clubhouse would be for a community.

Real enrichment for community youth, to hone there skills & talents & enjoy themselves. Unlike the current structure that discourages talents & skills among children in school, ect..

  • So your a Socialist... your planning a Utopian future... Great another megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur...

  • @bosshoggett

    How is this socialistic?

Please show me some facts before you throw random words out..

Even if this is socialistic, you choose to deal with it not forced to.

  • @Cyrus992 Ha, Cyrus planning isn't Socialistic in anyway shape or form. It's the model of how a true society should be, instead of packed neighborhoods that depend on cars to travel to there necessity's & inefficient town structures that are wasteful & uncreative.

I pity the people who are stuck in the current structure & believe it is the greatest thing since sliced bread, instead of opening there eyes to this new model of efficiency, sustainability & True community.

    Missing your videos. =[

  • @Argentum702

    Hahahahaha...

By the way, does the "702" in your username mean you represent the 702 area code or something? Just curious.

  • VERY good, Master Cyrus...very good indeed. Use that noggin' & noodle, structure it, plan it out, stabilize, standardize...and above all...EFFICIENCY. "Loose enough" to be adaptable, but not so much it "dissolves" through non-interaction of end-users, or an overage/abundance of "bored" people who love to tamper with such things. 250+ years of "Legal Law" alone is absolute proof of "Invisible Idle Hands" game theory. Good work!

  • @TheCaptainSlappy

Tell me about it. Are you referring to my "Ditch the System, Seek for the Alternative" idea?

    Thank you for your support!

  • @Cyrus992 Every bit of the game we play, be it from government to law, education to language...is voluntary...though few see it that way. So I enjoy YOU saying..."You know what...I CAN do it better in design. I don't need to do it your way." I am talking about everything from street design, to governmental design...keep at it, chip away, use every "science" you can find, along with philosophy. Read...Read...Read. It is YOUR generation that will set the stage for the rest.

  • RE: architecture style - I still can't express it but what I would personally favor come from something I read in a book. I think it may of been the Fountainhead. Timelessness- not being able to tell if it's really ancient or really modern. It's a quality I see in some Egyptian architecture. Something else; single occupancy dwellings for urban workers. I lived in one in Phoenix. I liked it. Had it's own store inside, very handy. Fogged in today, no vid for you yet : (

  • Fun you mentioned me! The densely populated areas will be essential. The elderly, students, a VARIETY of people (mix is good!) will opt for these. There is a huge demand in France for very small abodes for single persons of all ages who want to be able to walk everywhere and have public transportation to work or services, or even work in their own city, which is ideal. My nabe outside Paris is ugly but egad it is cheap and practical. We buy most of our greens from a farm a mile from here.

  • @slobomotion

No problem. Your welcome! I hope you like Component 1.

You know there has got to be some young people who are really creative and awake to these movements and ideas. Someone has got to be there! I need you to spread my words!

  • @Cyrus992 I still haven't been paid for three lectureships in 2010 in which I used YouTube and the web bot reports as icebreakers, and these were cited as problems, so I am through with sticking my neck out for anyone anymore. If you wanna help me get paid over here and your French is perfect, finey fine. I've had it with causes. If you want me for PR assistance, I can bill you. Not a problem.

  • Why is your MoM and Dad talking, and children yelling in the background?

  • @kcrone1

What do you want me to do? Tell them to shut up?

They do not even know about my design ideas, investment account, and youtube videos. I keep a low profile.

  • @Cyrus992 It is really laudable that you are thinking about this stuff so young. At your age, I was kind of just into college, beer and music. Which is fine to some extent but I didn't get serious until I was 25 and a lot of time was wasted.

  • @Cyrus992 Keep flying under the radar my brother, the world will be ours!

  • @Cyrus992 damn, much respect on your ideas/effort/courage to put them out there. I'm glad there are still younger adults thinking/inspired like this....the plans reminded me of my design days in college, but you are much more pertinent and in-the-know than i was at that age...much respect man, my youngest sister is your age, 'n i can't find any of them to take one real thing seriously for longer than a minute! it's Not good, is a major understatement

  • @chriscunanan

Thank you.. I highly appreciate your support.. I am Cyrus and there is a virus I need to defeat.. Someone has got to do it!

Besides, what do you agree or disagree with my points and ideas in this clip? I really want this to work!

Yeah.. and many of the young people are totally lost... and they will regret ignoring me. Many still however respect me but do not show a lot of interest.

Spread my words and ideas! Happy 2012!

  • Oh wait... you talk about that at 5:50...

  • One concern is, what if investment comes in? What if new development comes in of, say... A retail store. Where does new enterprise fit into our city.

  • This blueprint is excellent. Design is superior. But I would add an idea I had.

A nearby Biocenter System, Would be solar & wind farm, hydropower, biomass energy generation, clean water generation & distribution, aswell as biodome fruit, vegetable, food production (Milk, beef, egg's, chicken, pork, ect.). With a citywide recycling system. Stationed Cyrus Planning recycling houses, Rainwater recycling, Feces treatment center, To be turned into gas.

All this making the city self sustainable.

  • @IBloodSweatTears

Does not sound concerning. We could do some at least..

Let us try not to confuse or let this be highjacked by "Sustainible Development" "ICLEI" or/and "Agenda 21."

  • @Cyrus992 Right I understand.

But an incredible city such as this is nothing without self sustainability, A city that if all fails, can provide for itself & it's people. Good energy, food, transit, gas, water, ect.

A city with a grid just like what you see on a daily basis, and an entire system like you always see, isn't really much different, just the design is different.

  • @IBloodSweatTears

I see what you mean... Similar ideas have been done on areas for decades and centuries.

We have to wake up people to understand the difference between REAL sustainibility directed by the many or the deceptive sustainibility done by ICLEI and other crony organizations and special interest groups.

    Join and spread our voices!

  • @Cyrus992 Agreed. But A thing i find vexing is that I live in a city where we don't own anything. We have a mall we don't own, a city arena we don't own, the only thing we might own is city hall & recreation centers.

I'd be in favor of city owned enterprises simply because it's on a local basis, City owned mall or arena & so on. More locally bases productivity as you said. Some might call that "Local Communism".

  • @IBloodSweatTears

I would prefer privately-owned arenas and shopping centers. Other methods might work.

I read your profile and it seems you certainly have a lot ahead of you! I wonder where you will succeed!

Hopefully you can start a business/company and/or develop the town-complex by making money selling units and residences!

  • @Cyrus992 Good idea. :o But Imagine how much Capitol this project might require...!

  • @IBloodSweatTears

If I you are even involved in less than 1%, I am delighted.

It is not that difficult. Develop a few residences and buildings, market, and sell them or you can rent them out where you get a solid return in the years ahead.

The plan involves about 220,000 people and can cost in the billions! Eventually we will all suceed in our net worth and the corrupt people will pay back.

  • @Cyrus992 I'm all in. With a good network of people, raising capitol will be the easy part, marketing this to a society that is used to the status quo is the hard part. But with the advantages we offer, Lower cost of living, excellent investment environment, productivity & local economic focus, we can bring people in. People love something new...

  • @IBloodSweatTears

Thank you.. I appreciate your support. If it is difficult for you, leave the marketing to me!

Remember the whole design is going to have some differnces if it is in an area near Fayetteville instead of Southern California.

  • @Cyrus992 No not at all, I'm study it and understand what to do. Just need to plan on how to initiate the program...

  • @IBloodSweatTears I suggest you learn the difference between the words "capitol" and "capital" before you try to do anything. I am available for editorial assistance if you like, and have an MBA with honors. I am a consultant in Europe these days. My best to you.

  • @slobomotion Middle of the night, tired as hell, your spelling truly suffers. Yea, we need all the Human resources we can get, would be happy to use any skills you may have...

  • @IBloodSweatTears My rates are really reasonable for editorial and my website is cutecatfaith d com. I check my email every weekday and get back to people quickly. xo

  • I've also been reading up on Manuel Castells idea of replacing zoning laws with performance guidelines. I've been reading the following: BEYOND THE CRISIS: TOWARDS A NEW URBAN PARADIGM by Laura Burkhalter & Manuel Castells, which I find fascinating.

  • This reminds me a bit of Andrés Duany's transect-based planning. You can find out more about it at DPZ period com They have a lot of documentation, including a model code.

  • @Ape65

You know that I am not on the same boat with Andres Duany and New Urbanism right? I mentioned that several times.

I can debate you for hours telling how my plans are different from his.

Thanks for the info by the way. I checked it out I believe when I was 15 back in 2008.

  • @Cyrus992 I watched the YouTube video "ROSA KOIRE: Author and Activist, "Behind the Green Mask" ". I have the impression that the New Urbanist movement has been hijacked by bureaucratic control freaks. The original motive was to make cities more beautiful and liveable. It needs to be implemented in a much more flexible manner than what's being done.

  • @Ape65

I also have a huge feeling the movement was highjacked. Since in the early times they would talk little about sustainibility, transit, environment, energy crisis, etc...

This is one of the reason why I am not on the same boat with them. I have many differences and other planning/designing idea. See my video "Cyrus vs. New Urbanism" and you will see.

  • According to the town-complex you saw, a possible 220,000 residents will be living there built over a vast-empy vacant land. About 75% Detached Residences are planned! Close to which urban area we can build this?

Atlanta? Las Vegas? Toronto? Pheonix? Inland Empire?

  • The amount of each component built in the city/town complex (Ranging from the large lot deached homes section to urban center section) will be based on real demand. In the city-complex plan I displayed, only about 10% of the residents are in the dense urban centers.

  • What equities you recommending in 2012?

  • @IBloodSweatTears

See my previous video. It varies.

I am still bullish on First Majestic Silver (AG)

  • Do you believe people should be required to pass a test to get a driver's license to legally drive? Making driving a privaledge and not a right

  • @nottinmatterz2day

Not an easy question to answer. I do not think I mentioned that on this video.

The DMV in the city-complex plan will be located in the special zone mentioned at 5:30 due to its less attractiveness and car-dependent environment.

  • Using someplace like Detroit for a pilot project actually would be a great way to showcase rather than an isolated track of land. It would provide a good study in contrast, sort of a side by side comparison or the ever popular 'before and after'.

Hang on to these ideas. We'll need them for reconstruction. I'm partial to the Federal style btw, for architecture, it's rapidly losing it's appeal in the government area, lol.

  • @acuriousbeast

What architectural styles do you believe we should focus a lot on?

May I ask which metro-area you live in? Every place has its uniqueness.

  • @Cyrus992 I'd have to reflect on that. Here we used to have a lot of what I believe was called 'moderne' plus old stuff from the 1800's. We have a lot of ugly 70's stuff and much of what we are getting now is kind of squat, chunky stuff I'm not sure of the style. I'm going to do some shooting tomorrow. I'll send you some shots. I live in Corpus Christi, TX which is a coastal city in Southern Texas.

  • @acuriousbeast

It seems to me you guys have a lot of mid-late 20th century ranch McMansion style homes. Not too crazy about those either. Many of them quite tragic!

You guys could use some plantation/tidewater style residences and buildings in the area. Some Spanish and Mission styles can work too. What do you think?

  • @Cyrus992 McMansion! That's it. Putting the ugh in ugly. Mission style we do have as well as some plantation-ish. It's really a hodge podge. I prefer the more simple styles, clean lines and tidy landscaping for the front. I try to use native trees and plants for the backyard but exotic and lush for the patios, preferably in pots. To be honest the whole city needs a makeover.

  • @acuriousbeast

I believe the landscaping you are talking about requires less maintainence and is something I might consider.

Remember I am not Anti-Mansion, I am pro REAL mansion. Therefore we should build our upscale residences more on elegance, class, and luxury instead.

Real Villas, Chateaus, and Manors here we come!
