  • or tell me what you used liquid

  • Nice upgrade from 2.2 man. how are you planning on keeping the flame from going out when you pump in to much fule? or areyou going to have an auto relighter?

  • but the flame would go off if the gas is expelled too quickly, how could you solve this problem?

  • You have just made a pyromaniac very, very happy.

  • i wonder if u could do this with electricity

  • @BlestTheJediThug If you want a simpler version, follow the same fuel tank idea, but use a spraying flammable substance, like bug spray, and light the spray on fire with a lighter of some sort. It would be slightly the same.

  • @mvana125 hey I had the same Idea

  • @sonictheultimate Now I realized how bad of an idea that was. You should use a flammable GAS so that it is easier to travel through a tube.

  • @mvana125 thats understood but cant gas just leak through when you partly close a tube?

ive been working on my own Pyro system concept based on your plans

  • @sonictheultimate Well, it's nice to know that someone is putting them to good use. By the way, you have to make sure that the tube is ENTIRELY closed, so that no air leaks out. You should use butane or something. You could probably buy some of the stuff online in a 12 g canister. Well, happy building! Oh, and, one more thing...kill some bad guys for me, all right?

  • @mvana125 oh let me tell you about it making an Iron man Armor, with batman utility belt, and a Hidden blade. All im now missing is some repulser beams and a jet pack. My name is gona be Kick your ass LOL.

  • @sonictheultimate For the jetpack, try ignighting some ethonol in a fuel tank. It would burn out a little too quickly, and you can't bend your legs if you want to keep them, but it's worth a shot! :3

  • @mvana125 hehe yes but I could only use it once wonder if tanks of Liquid O2 could help more fule and I know one tank can shoot off about 30-40 feet and lift about 100 LB. God hope I can carry it all. Also I have made black eggs, and even made Thermite and Napalm I lined easter eggs with Melted wax to hold the Napalm and a Bottle Rocket for Ignition. Thermite is held in the same way but in the large eggs and a strip of Magnesium for ignition. we had a blast on Newyears

  • Almost spiderman.

  • This should be in a videogame. Maybe hidden pyrosystem in Assassin's Creed 3 :O

  • his house is going to burn down one day playing with so much fire.

  • I'll pay you if build me one or two. Im not even kidding.

  • if i give you 3000 bucks,you built me one ?

  • You should make me one and ship it to me id pay

  • You should make a tutorial.

  • Where did you learn how to do this stuff??

  • Make 4 of em and put 2 on ur shoes and BOOM ur Iron Man! =) so take a flight or somethin....

  • i hate this guy.. id be on the news by now saving girls from rapists if i was him... all i would need is to learn like 5 years of keysi training first at least n use this gorgeous weapon... id wear some dope body armor on top of a hoodie sweater in case they got guns... weld my own helmet covered by my hoodie... id prolly use a metal staff too...id call myself.... Ghostfire

  • bro, you should fight crime

  • @DBC98989 deffinetly, or develop gear for a hero

  • Iron Man In Real-life??

  • genius i never thought of using a servo until now great ideas

  • Good, but your workplace is quite harzadous, and thats dangerous. dispose of those f.o.d

  • U can probably sell this there has to be so proffesion with this need

  • holly fuck dude, make more inventions!

  • I tried to make one of these a while back and found out that PVC tubing is really hard to compress (with a small motor). Instead, use surgical tubing which is easy to squeeze and strong.

  • Insane

  • Do you make a video on how to make this by any chance =]

  • YOUR THE IRON MAN IN REAL LIFE MY HERO

  • might I suggest you add a bracket onto 3.0 to hold a can of silly string

  • I would gladly buy a finished version of this should you ever begin selling them.

  • this is the coolest video ive ever seen on youtube.

  • If you are ever interested in selling a Pyro System please PM me. You could turn a profit and make someone very happy.

  • I suggest you should measure how long it takes for the gas tanks to become empty, then add a simple digital stopwatch that stops and starts when you use the system. So it will count down as you use gas. Then add a simple alarm of anykind, sound, electric shock or visual idicator to the stopwatch circut. Or you could just look at the tank when its on your arm lol,

  • Just fart at a lighter, that will give you similar results.... :)

  • Dude let me buy one of those, I'd pay $500 no doubt.

  • You, sir, are a madman, and a fucking genius.

  • very techy for a flamthower

  • this is awesome truly, you should continue refining this design and when you get to that state you should market them. ofc you should make a copyright right away ! :D

  • i made one in 1 second flat its called using imagination

  • Make more and sell them for $29.99!!

  • So.... use a pepakura viewer, download a iron man suit, print, cut, glue everthing together and make a real iron man suit. :P my small children's dreams.

  • Simply amazing! I'm sure you plan on making 2 of them if you are going for Pyro. I admire what drove you to make this, as a fellow nerd heh. As soon as I saw this, I went and watched every video of your creations. Sentinal WTF!?!?!?

  • you beat tony stark

  • quick question, may i have some tips? heh xD :] im failing a few times and i just need to know wat else ur using :D

  • Make a hand flamethrower is easy,u only have to be creative ;)

  • you beat assassins creed

  • There's a point where dedication, insight, and class transcend a point into something special. Anyone who embarked on this journey with all of that inherent, can't be categorized but must be seen and recognized on an individual level. Once there, one's only peers remain those in fiction, and in history, whether present, or past. Everyone else, quit geeking out :P.

  • sweet valve. only question is any idea on how many times that valve can be closed and opened before the tubing begins to crack from wear and tear?

  • hey im working on my own and im having problems with the ignitor do you think you can tell me what you used for the ignitor that connects with the butane?

  • what kind of canisters i cant find one that fits

  • did u ever finsh

  • 1/8 of what? an inch? centimeter? plz reply!

  • @smoda945 inch

  • @smoda945 Of an inch. Typically the metric system uses decimals whereas the American Standard measurement system uses fractions.

  • i just figured out how to make your pyro 1 i scared the shit out of my friends!

  • Are you selling these? Or making them for other people?

  • cool how do u acsess the switch?

  • Im considering building something of this sort and i was wondering... In all of the models you have built so far, is there any danger of the flame igniting and then traveling down the tube into your fuel canister? If there is such a chance of this happening, what precautions do you take to ensure it doesn't explode on your wrist and kill you?

  • How do you do that with the servo? i have a pyro system of my own but a servo would make it alot easier. Is there anyway i get or make one like yours?

  • what kind of canisters are those? I'm having trouble finding good ones, what brand is it?

  • of course! why didn't i think of that. but isn't it easier to control the flame's height with the movement of your wrist?

  • Innovation is the backbone of America...

  • Ah yes the solder-less breadboard, I knew I should have retaken that electronics course.

  • Please dont EVER stop doing this.

People like YOU make the word work!!!

  • Looks good. A piece of advice : when a horrific lab accident leaves you tragically disfigured with a burning hatred for humanity...release it on fighting crime; muggers can't sue. :p

  • Everett, I just wanted to say Keep up the good work! I think what you are doing could some day turn into something great!

Have you thought about replacing fire with an expanding foam of some type for firefighters? Think about that for a few weeks and look into fire extinguishing foam in those small canisters. I think it could change the world on how we fight fires and save lives. Good luck with your great work!

  • Hey can U make a video on where to buy or how to make the nozzel that u used. i built everything else but the nozzel is whats getting me confused. :) thanks... by the way this thing is sweet!

  • HOLY SHIT bro!!! You have officially crossed the line going from nerdy to COMPLETELY AWESOME!!!!!

  • @kjun13 he's so nerdy he's not anymore

  • looks great.. i can see that you know what your doing... keep up the good work !

  • This mas is like Da Vinci from Assassin's Creed 2, he should totally make weapons for the next game :O

  • lol, huh, u reckon this guy could make a hidden blade??

btw, da vinci was a real person LOL, you make it sound as if hes made up

  • Da Vinci and Nikola Tesla are my history heroes of all time...

also, this man needs to make the hidden blade.

  • u reckon we can convince him to??

  • can you send me the blue prints on how to make the entire thing form

  • Damn right this stuff is good, very good if that guy gonna do more better Pyro Technic he will be rich cuz i think U.S will buy it...

  • @fitras23 Nah, US'll make their own and claim they came up with the whole idea.

  • No they would not buy it. If anything they would put him in jail. The use of flamethrowers of any sort is prohibited in the U.S. Army. It was banned after Vietnam for two reasons. One being that they were a hazard to the user and people around him because he was a large target, one shot to the tank and it explodes. Another being that it is considered inhumane to kill someone with fire.

  • how do make 2.2 pyro system please send me plans.

  • Add differente gases for different colored fireballs!!! Great job!

  • dude once the military see's this youll be getting offers for the next portibal flamethrowers

  • keep going whit your work and maybe 1 day the U.S. army will pay you for making more advanced onces whit other engeniers and professionals ;)

  • @Keferke100

The US army will not use anything like this for the simple reason that its too cruel to burn your enemies alive.

And also in modern war you dont get close enough.

  • Yes bit this guy shows potential to create far better weapons...just look at what he was able to make in his garage! Give him a budget of a few million and a team under him and he could make some of the most destructive weapons ever...or he could make something which helps the world

  • Ahhh, ya give this guy a few million dollars and you might get the technology shown in GI Joe, or even Iron Man. (Just Hollywood examples)

  • @GTISilverBullet Damn I like weapons more then help cuz with weapons u can do anything but with help not..

  • And I suppose that filling them with bullets and bombs its an act full of goodness and mercy?

Any army, (not only US's) would do anything for power and money, even if they have to roast thousands of puppets...

  • The US Army does have limitations.

The Government does have to follow certain limitations set in place by the UN and by ethical standards.

If you shoot someone your probably going to kill them, if you use a flamethrower on them theres no guarantee they will die, and if they survive. thats even worse.

This device would be good use for camping and survival, if you need to light a fire just use it for a second and problem solved.

  • @Cooley35 Didn't you watch his first videos, the ones where he explained why he was doing this? It was a finishing project for some course he did where he created a device to emulate the powers of the character Pyro from X-Men. That's all.

This guy's a responsible adult, and a design engineer. He knows what he's doing.

  • Actually no I didnt watch any of his other videos, this one popped up randomly and I watched it lol.

  • @Cooley35

they did burn people down in WO 1 and 2, in Vietnam ... if they just put this system on to a M4a1 the military got a long and short range weap in 1 ... :D

  • you went to school for pyrotechnics, i think you should teach it as a prof.

  • now i feel my old pic projects are boring!

  • did you mack up the layout or did you find them somewhere

  • genius

  • i really like you proyect, but couldnt stop thinking that maybe de button vould me on the side of your digit finger, so yould press ir with your thumb? im no engeneer or anything like it, but thought i could help just a bit :p... i really hope you get the system just right, you can do it

  • I see the fuel canister is Firebird, does anyone know the model number? The size is perfect for something I'm working on. I tried via google and couldn't find it.

  • can you mix it with oxygen or sth so that the flame getts bigger?

also you could put an element near the flame so you have a blue or green flame ;)

    really good work!!

  • Wow, you are really intelligent makes me want to go back to school to make cool things like that. He can probably make a web shooter easy

  • Man, you are genius.

  • fucking awsome man!

  • Your a Beast..

  • I hope this guy becomes an engineer later in life. I can't wait to see what he'll build.

  • arduino?

  • pro mini.

  • that's odd, I was sure I used a PIC, but if you say so...

  • I wasn't saying you were using a pro mini, I was referring to what the guy above me said about arduinos. I thought he was saying arduino as a suggestion. Of all the arduinos to suggest I like the pro mini the best.

  • haha what language did you programed it in. C or Assambler?

PIcs will own the world some day haha great work men

  • what would happen if someone shook your hand while the system was on?

  • holy shit

    you're an android

  • omg this is fucking bomb im going to learn how to make this :)

  • Very creative stuff! Keep it up.

  • Sweet, i was thinking about making exactly the same, cant find those small butane refills tho

  • we need more people like you.

    don't ever stop

  • Please make a web shooter

  • I was thinking the same thing

  • Dude, you are so AWESOME!!!

  • What about premature wear of the tube were the ball bearing rests? Admittedly we're not talking about much wear but plastic tubing does have the potential to kink or at least stiffen after repeated bending.

  • people who talk about intelligence, are obsessed with intelligence, and surround themselves with popularly recognized intelligence, are misleading in that they themselves absorb none of it. this comment is an easy example.

  • I'm sorry that I didn't read all of the comments dating back over six months to see a reply to my question already posted. Usually youtube comments are so full of utter retardation that I don't even bother.

    Christ, you're a prick.

  • What in the world do you do for a living? :)

  • Where do you get the butane canisters?

  • HADOUKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I, for one, salute my new fiery overlord

  • you know you could actually get military funding for that

  • Geneva convention says flame throwers are bad for your health =(

  • You know Aelokk everything in this world can be bad for your health so why not add another thing to the list.

  • They're also very bad for your skin. It tends to char it.

  • Is it just me or is anyone else seeing a real ironman?

  • yea no shit, lol, theyres so many good military ideas on youtube and no one seems to understand the potential of it all.

  • Great work! looking forward too seeing the 3.0!!

  • to be so young and so damn smart. this kid has a bright future

  • dude, u are mad....

    i love it!

  • badass

  • The button servo idea is a great thought. I wanted to give you an idea. How about attaching it to the number 2 joint on your index finger. Then you could operate it with your thumb.

  • I liked system 2.2 better, just because of the fact that you pull back your hand to light it. Instead of having perfect control of the flame, you just wing it. Fire isn't supposed to be controlled... It's supposed to run wild! ;)

  • Tony Stark in the making

  • how is this illegal? and if it was...

WHO CARES, THIS IS IRON MAN IN REAL LIFE

  • Pfffff, you just jealous cuz you don't have the intelligence he does fuzzbag

  • i was acctualy replying to nothingbutawhims comment =]

  • This isn't illegal. Even if it was, I'd make it anyway.

  • Absolutely amazing. Makes my English major seem completely obsolete by comparison. Sure, I could write a story or poem that intelligent people and nerds can enjoy, but your Engineering degree will allow you to do things that will benefit the majority as well as entertain if you so pleased. Plus it looks fun. Keep up the good work.

  • Hahaha these are fucking awesome

  • Make it shoot from your fist like Wheeler from Captain Planet.

  • Just seeing him explain the valve mechanics, can tell he's got some experience in these things.. Wouldn't be surprised if he already has a degree in some sort of engineering (a field im currently looking into) xP.. How else could he be "qualified," as he states in his earlier video(s)?

  • QUIT MAKING ME WANT TO CHANGE MY MAJOR

  • wonderful

  • you are a genious!

  • Wow dude... at the very least you have a VERY interesting entre' towards engineering college / an effects shop / a mechanical engineering program... not a bad way to at least read, if not write, your own ticket...

  • you could have the button between your thumb and index finger so all you have to do is close the gap between those two fingers. This way you don't have to risk bringing your fingers down closer to the flames.

  • hope you don't sell out for military contracts...

  • Thats a cool idea but it might be easier and more intuitive to use your original idea of flexing the wrist for more fuel. Maybe click to disengage throttling it, but maintain a small pilot flame and still move your wrist without blowing anything up. Then click to allow throttle and have at it! Just an idea. Anyway, sick project.

  • I'd love to have one of these this is sick

  • This is so amazing. When you finish would you consider releasing your designs? I want to build one of these so bad.

  • Ohh its look very awesome =D, maybe build me one too....

  • oh, and instead of using a lighter sparker, you might want to get a capacitor or an electric sparker to take out the physical movement of sparking ignition. good luck

  • bro this is realy nice, you actually know what you are doing! props :)

and u might need to find a screw with a finer thread because the motor seems to move a little too much and too fast. it might take out the flame...

  • as if you know what you're on about you pikey

  • what? i do know what im talking about. If you want, message me and ill put it into 5th grade language for your retarded brain to digest.

  • stop switching your grammar to intimidate me, you're just some fat fuck who wikipedia'd "valve" after watching this video... don't copy and paste some internet crap and make out as if you're cool when you're just some faggot reject

  • no hold on, why are you trying to insult my valuable input to this video? I am absolutely not trying to intimidate you in any way. YOU are the one saying it as if I have no idea what I am saying even though I am not trying to sound cool at all. Stop trollin my comments!

  • i'm not trolling, i'm telling you how it is.

  • If you have the button on the palm won't that mean you're jamming your fingers very close to the flame? If you're keeping the general design of the 2.2 you could put the button on the side the index finger so that you can press it with your thumb and still have an open hand.

  • Thats hella cool. Now you can do the spider-man sign when you shoot flames. Haha even though you'll look like a dumbass. haha

  • You should make it so that the valve where the flame comes out sits on the top of your middle finger and when you want to push the button you make a fist. This would reduce the chances of accidentally burning your hand. Also, instead of a switch or button you should use a potentiometer to control the servo. The potentiometer would go on the palm of your hand you the tip of your middle finer touches it, and you can adjust it that way.

  • He isn't really a genius, just an experienced pyrotechnic.

  • It is illegal to use flamethrowers in war.....
