Do the math....Right now gas is almost 4 bucks per gallon with a barrel at 110 area...When gas was 4 bucks per gallon a few years back, the barrel was around 150 bucks...Basically gas is 1 dollar more per gallon now then it was a few years back...We are being fucked over....How is the change now.....Bush got blamed back then for being an oil man...Who do you blame now.....

Making a responsible gas tax ($1-$2/gal) would be a great move. Ask Europe. The supply/demand would mean the price would not go up anywhwere near that, but the money would now stay within the USA rather than fund terrorists. Make it tax-neutral by dropping income tax an equal amount so people can have more money in their pocket if they want. It's simple. Do some research, moron. There's a successful process in use, albeit a small operation, that accelerates the natural process in nature that results in oil and diesel.
It involves shredding garbage, pressure cooking it and then separating it.
There's never been any real shortage of oil. Just like there's not really any food crisis on the other side of the world.
It's just corporate powers with smoke & mirrors wanting to take your $ and manipulate you.
It's not just about shortage, it's also about economic viability. It takes energy to remove the oil from the ground. They're having to dig deeper and deeper and so are expending more and more energy to get the oil. They've already invested countless billions on making the extraction as efficient as possible, eventually it will take more energy to get the oil up than you get from the oil.

It's an interesting video but i think that you've missed my point. Energy is taken up in drilling, i.e. in the production of the oil. Similarly this new TDP method uses energy in the production of the oil. This time not in drilling but now in transporting the waste and "pressure-cooking" it. It still needs a method to produce this energy, such as wind or solar. And that being the case, why not just go straight to battery vehicles? It doesn't mention efficiency or emmissions, which is suspicious.
Again that's kind of my point. The other technologies are promising. Also can you see the fundamental problem of having a method of providing energy, which itself consumes energy. It means that even more energy must be produced in this way (which isn't clean). Also it means that the organic waste cannot be used for the production of plasctics, which may be a better use of this polymerisation technolgy.
Basically my concern is that producing the oil requires energy. So why doesn't it mention how much of the oil produced is used in the production of the next batch of oil? More importantly this method is going to continue to pump C02 into the atmosphere. We know that if the global temperatures change by a few degrees then we will trigger another ice age and kill billions through starvation. The question is can we stop it? - and this method of fuelling the economy doesn't even try to.

During the Gulf War when Iraq invaded Kuwait, I believe the UK Government (and oil companies) put the cost of petrol (gas) up an average of one British pound per litre of petrol (or thereabouts) and you think American's have it bad.
If I remember correctly too, soon after the Gulf War came to and end, the UK Government admitted, that increasing the price of petrol by about a pound was unnecessary.
It's all seems to be a bit of a farce.

Making a responsible gas tax ($1-$2/gal) would be a great move. Ask Europe. The supply/demand would mean the price would not go up anywhwere near that, but the money would now stay within the USA rather than fund terrorists. Make it tax-neutral by dropping income tax an equal amount so people can have more money in their pocket if they want. It's simple. It involves shredding garbage, pressure cooking it and then separating it.
There's never been any real shortage of oil. Just like there's not really any food crisis on the other side of the world.
It's just corporate powers with smoke & mirrors wanting to take your $ and manipulate you.

It's not just about shortage, it's also about economic viability. It takes energy to remove the oil from the ground. They're having to dig deeper and deeper and so are expending more and more energy to get the oil. They've already invested countless billions on making the extraction as efficient as possible, eventually it will take more energy to get the oil up than you get from the oil.

It's an interesting video but i think that you've missed my point. Energy is taken up in drilling, i.e. in the production of the oil. Similarly this new TDP method uses energy in the production of the oil. This time not in drilling but now in transporting the waste and "pressure-cooking" it. It still needs a method to produce this energy, such as wind or solar. And that being the case, why not just go straight to battery vehicles? It doesn't mention efficiency or emmissions, which is suspicious.

There's not really an overbearing need to have a source of energy to fuel the trucks hauling the loads.
Just divert all trash from landfills to a processing plant like that. Or just build said plants on site at landfills.
And of course it doesn't mention efficiency or emissions; it produces the fuel identical to what we drill up.
The only difference is the natural process is simply sped up. It's presumably as efficient in use as any other fuel.
As for batteries, look up Quasi Crystals.

It means that even more energy must be produced in this way (which isn't clean). Also it means that the organic waste cannot be used for the production of plasctics, which may be a better use of this polymerisation technolgy.

Basically my concern is that producing the oil requires energy. So why doesn't it mention how much of the oil produced is used in the production of the next batch of oil? More importantly this method is going to continue to pump C02 into the atmosphere. We know that if the global temperatures change by a few degrees then we will trigger another ice age and kill billions through starvation. The question is can we stop it? - and this method of fuelling the economy doesn't even try to.
