  • Great stuff, although that ride cymbal is a bit obnoxious. Great player though!

  • @tcbetka A lot to do with the equipment used for recording... Man he can smoke that ride!

  • Jazz ain't easy

  • ahh ahhh ahhh

  • I don't think you'revonly llayin the diddle diddle but also the normal paradiddle RLRRLRLL am i wrong ?

  • @somefreelog That's what I was wondering too. After all, a paradiddle-diddle as 8th-note triplets gives you 'time' on the ride cymbal; so it wouldn't provide any break at all.

  • thank you so much sir bryan czack...GODBLESS U for sharing this =)

  • Yeah but in the original film "The Morning After", when the ship capsized, the drums were laying all over the ceiling and the drummer was fucking dead so I'm not gigging on any damned cruise ship because the drummer always gets killed.

  • That does not sound like a jazz ride...

  • @Danielcrspo uhm... yes, it does

  • @Danielcrspo its because of the mic..

  • @Danielcrspo yeah, it doesn't have good definition. sounds like a big crash

  • i first that he was joking

  • I like.

  • AKA six stroke roll

  • @sussexcounty a six stroke roll is rllrrl and a paradiddle dlddle is rlrrll but they are very similar.

  • Nice lesson-thanks!
