Need help. I use Drop Shield in custom games offline split play (I don't play online) b/c AL dosen't work. I still get killed. My only theory is b/c I like to play w/ shields off. Maybe that activates the AL bug? Tried to find info, but no luck. Will give my theory a shot in 2 weeks when I go home. But in the mean tm can any1 or where can I find help? Also, haven't gotten the tm to get the TU. Ill chk if that fixes the prob asap. Thx in advance.

I agree with this because armor lock is a great armor ability and it usually saves your freakin life when you're stuck by a grenade, plasma launcher, or being attacked by vehicles. Plus you made no sense whatsoever hence my huge paragraph that I had to write up. Armor lock requires timing, and that's hard.

It is easy to counter armor lock.

Waiting for it to disable is one example.

But they insisted(and don't get me wrong, I love Bungie) on putting these bullshit armor abilities to help bad players be more successful. They also took away the trueskill matchmaking system and switched it to point based. So yea...

Armor lock and other "noob friendly" additions add inconsistency to the game. Cause bullshit situations, screw up the flow of the game, and drop the skill cieling.

You could just time the armor lock and THEN throw a grenade, it's not the armor lockers fault or problem that you idiots just blindly throw grenades as soon as they lock. It doesn't last long and if you actually bother aiming for the head, which isn't hard at all, then you shouldn't be having too much of an issue when they come out of locks. As for using armor locks to prevent bashes, well it has to some practical use against people who DO know how to play now doesn't it? And let's not kid ours

Armor Lock is actualy one of the most powerful Technologys ever. It is just not suited tp be used in Close Combat and should only be used when Comrades can cover you.

Because it is a nice Chance for them to shoot down Enemys who wait like Retards for your Armor Lock to end xD

And it is also a very nice thing to survive Grenades or even heavy Attacks like from Wraith's, heavy Weapons, Scorpions, People who want to run you over with a Vehicle... xP
