What we need to do in Afghanistan is try the same strategy Genghis Khan used to kill hard to get at enemies. Right now the Taliban keep getting us and then run off into the mountains before we can really get back at them.
What we need to do is pull back to only those areas of strategic interest and then let the Taliban take the rest. Once they think they have won in those areas and are out of hiding, airstrike them into oblivion.
The Great Khan used similar tactics (no missiles) and won.

First of all, I would just like to say that this is a very controversial subject politically and racially so it's obvious that many people disagree. And I would like to point out that it is possible to have a civilized debate without using offensive words. I personally don't care much for politics, so Sarah Palin doesn't concern me. But looking at the Afghanistan debate in general, I see this as another way to show how we are constantly failing to come to an agreement.
